I bought four of them for my submicro quadcopter.
The motors are terribly out of balance, the bearings are crap as well.
On two of them the bell is jumping up and down during rotation.
These make such a vibration on the frame that the FC is hardly able to keep
the quad flying.
The motor cables are so thin and nearly unable to solder.
I bought many products from HK but this is far the worst of all.

This is a great little motor its so cute. I haven't tested it yet but its quality is good it had a little wire sticking out of the winding but it seems to have disappeared and it comes without connectors. It comes with a motor mount and it dose not include a prop saver so get the one for the "C10 motor" and put some shrink tubing on the shaft and it works great.

Hi,

I have just measured the AD-C5 3700KV Micro Motor shaft, it is:

The shaft is 1.48 mm / 0.058 inch in diameter.

The motor shaft is 17.14 mm / 0.675 inch total length, from front to back.

There is 6mm / 0.236 inch of useable prop shaft protruding from the front of the motor bell.

The motor shaft is retained on the back (stator) by a small circlip / e-clip (my motor shaft slides easily in the motor bell - will need a thread locker or glue to stop it sliding / rotating)

The motor bell (rotor) diameter is 13.88 mm / 0.546 inch

9.95 mm / 0.392 inch from rear mounting face to front face (front face / prop hub - just a small flat 'locator ring' surface 4 mm / 0.158 inch diameter by 1mm deep)

The three motor wires are very fine, extensions of the motor windings, the length is 42 mm / 1.65 inch heat shrinked and 47 mm / 1.85 inch total length.

The weight including the motor wires is: 4.4 gram / 0.155 ounce.

with the little 3x2 prop this little guy screams. its like a a little ducted prop the way i have it set up its cute :)
