I found you need quite a big space to run these. The steering is not instant in or out of a turn so you have to anticipate when you want to turn, something younger kids will find difficult. Also the steering is all or nothing so accuracy is something to learn with the control set up. All in all these seem pretty cool, I bought two but have not raced yet and only run one, the spinning gyro is quite loud. It all worked fine, im sure also a slightly bigger battery might fit for longer run times. I have the red and green but i cant figure out why one cost more than the other as they are boxed and look the same (apart from the colour) hope this helps.

The little bike works pretty good, much better that I had hoped for twenty bucks. The smoother and flatter the surface the better. There is no damping in the shocks so if you go too fast on regular asphalt it will bounce and endo. It is fairly durable I had to push the front fork pins back in after a few crashes but it held up. Much faster than I had expected, you need a parking lot, living room is too small.

I bought this for my son but as soon as I opened it and put in a battery I found out it is not worth the money there is zero steering the so called gyro is just a heavy flywheel in the rear wheel that spins around as soon as you turn it on and it does nothing to help it stay upright the only thing you can do with it is give it a push and then let it run in a straight line. All in all it is not even worth the cost of the postage even if it was free. Regards Poppy Ann.

This model is not HobbyKing worthy. It really is cheaply made. My model had broken steering out of the box, would only steer to the right. The steering is not proportional. After 30 seconds the Gyro stopped working and the model stinks of burnt electronics. I'm sure Hobbyking wil sort it out, but I would not reccomend this model, even for this price.
