A nicely finished oleo leg which I use on my propjet. It is a 46 class aircraft. Seems very stable. Recomended product.Very nice leggs for a 40-46 size model, i would not go above 4 kg. They are nicely finished and everything is included to mount the wheel. Springs absorbe bumps very good.I have this on a 10 lbs plane and it works great. make sure you remember to loctite those allen screws.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAffTLHrD_kThey fit very well on my BH Chipmunk 61.They're a very nice strut with a smooth sliding action. The shock spring was to stiff for my application (~7lb plane), they wouldn't compress during a normal landing or take-off on our sometimes bumpy grass landing strip. So I cut off approxmately a third of the spring to make them more responsive to smaller bumps - my reason for buying them in the first place.Awesome. Bought a pair of these for a .46 VQ Yak9 and really happy with quality. Used them to replace a pair of inferior quality struts that would twist at the travel arm. These have a screw that travels up and down a slot so there is absolutely no twist.Matched them up with a pair of of Hobby King scale alloy hub wheels and hobby king electric retracts and have an excellent looking and working pair of landing gear.
Cheers hobby king. These are superb struts...I installed in my .46 Zero with servoless retracts, they are a charm...looks great and the shocks are awesomeExcelent quality!
I replaced the stock LG from my Dynam ME-262 with this and a metal trunnion servo with 4mm pin. I needed to add an adaptor since this leg hole is 5mm.
But it's very strong and looks very nice scale.
