The metal Chassis is a must. if you run on 3s lipo then with this Chassis you can be sure that it will not bend or break in first crash.

Quanum chassis

Overall very well made , but the chassis has no side giudes for the esc. So the esc may come loose and fall out overall great product.

Much needed upgrade

This buggy is fast and an awesome addition to the RC family, however with it's plastic belly pan it breaks in half allot. This aluminum upgrade is must and at that price a no brainier. Wish it came with some extra screws though, the allen heads are a bit soft so they get stripped easy as it's a full parts changeover with no instructions so makes for a fun easy challenge with the kid. Have 3 of these, like them allot.

The build quality is very good, all the holes are in the right place!
The chassis is 2.5mm thick an looks pretty solid. Does not flex or bend.

Best chassis plate if you want to go for jumps with your Vandal. Carbon or regular plastic might break easier.

This replacement chassis plate is the perfect replacement for the standard chassis. it comes in anodised blue finish without the normal lip on the side of the body so cleaning is such a breeze. I replaced the chassis for the 1/10 Quanum Vandal XL and made the whole buggy stand out from the crowd. The price was not unreasonable so if you are planning to replace the stock chassis then this is the one to do it.

Awsome chassis, very high quality but scratches very easy. Do not waste time on carbon fiber, this is better I think personally.
