i purchased these to replace a broken prop adapter. they seemed very nice at first, but on the third flight during a manuver at about 50 meters, two of the props flew off the quad copter due to a quick change in speed of the motors, resulting in a crash. very difficult to tighten enough so that they don't unwind during sudden motor speed changes.

Well I purchased these for my quadcopter and the first thing to note is these adaptors are missing corrugation where the prop itself sits on. They are smooth so you have to really tighten down the prop to get it from spinning freely. Second there is no way to hold onto the top adaptor to screw down the nut that tightens the prop down. Basically your trying to grip the round plate as tight as you can so you can even tighten down the prop. The last and major issue with these adapters is they fail very quickly. I had my quad only 5 feet off the ground fortunately but the top adapter on one of the motors sheered in half, so that prop basically just fell off and the quad crashed to the ground. I think the reason it sheared off is because the material is extremely thin, you can look at the aluminum and see there is barely any material holding the prop mounting post to the actual base plate.
