DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR and IMMEDIATELY dis-assembly the MUFFLER and SEAL IT with : red loctite.. any muffler sealer.. silicone rubber or anything.

use HK plug which is equal to OS plug. NO ON-BOARD GLOW NEEDED !!

HK # 3 = OS # 6 Hot
HK # 4 = OS # 7 Medium Hot
HK # 5 = OS # 8 Medium
HK # 6 = OS # 10 Cold (formerly A5)



I use PURE CASTOR OIL (= this is NOT SYNTHETIC, natural oil 17pcnt) and NO NITRO. (5-10pcnt nitro would help a little at rev-ving or transition.)

RESET the small needle (blow in with your mouth to the tube and find the CLOSED position then OPEN CIRCA 1 TURN)

RESET big needle (close full then open approx 1,5 turn.. start enginefind maximum rev.)

If you ordered the 4 stroke version and received the 2 stroke instead, I wonder how happy you would be then. Would you write a BAD review.

I built a Dynaflite Decathalon several years ago and installed the Magnum 1.80 on it, plenty of power, but bought a FTL 45cc gas engine for almost the same price and is much cheaper to fly and it flies great with that engine. The 52cc weighs the same and is only $10 more, may want to go gas instead.

I built a Dynaflite Decathalon several years ago and installed the Magnum 1.80 on it, plenty of power, but bought a FTL 45cc gas engine for almost the same price and is much cheaper to fly and it flies great with that engine. The 52cc weighs the same and is only $10 more, may want to go gas instead.

The only question I have is I am building a Dynaflight Decathalon and was thinking about this enine for it. I am going all out with the scale detail and am wondering if I could depend on this engine if installed.

on the first look it seems a nice engine it komes whith gaskets for the exhaust but the glow plug is not included

in the manuel they recomand a 18x6 prop instead of the 16x12 HK sugests

excellent motor and yes it is the same as the magnum. use the os #8 glow plug you will not be dissapointed.

After ordering the ASP 180AR I was suprised to recieve the four stroke version. Thanks Hobby City!! Installation and operation of the motor was a breese. This Engine purrs like a tiger right out of the box. After 1/2 gallon break in I am flying in my Katana140 without any problems to report. Tuning was straight foward and very similar to other brand. Very pleased with this purchase and shipping time was excellent. Great job guy's
