Runs great, with RCXel ign system installed, started on the third flip. In the process of converting to gas, i'll update when I get it tuned right.I have been bench testing this engine with a few props.
Coolpower 15pcnt glow fuel and spark ignition.
APC 18x6W = 7800rpm
Xoar 18x6 = 7800rpm
Xoar 16x8 = 8500rpm
Aerostar 18x6 = 8400rpm

The only flaw I've found is the same that I've found in all ASP and Magnum engines....
Invariably, the valves are always set badly. on this engine one cylinder was good, the other had the exhaust valve too tight and the intake too loose. My 180 and 91 were the same.
But other than that, this engine has been a real joy.
I broke it in with a 15/8 prop as recommended until I had 1/2 a gallon thru it. At that point it was ready to fly but the weather was bad so we just kept playing with it and testing different props.
Now that the weather is good, we're getting ready to put it on my Sig quarter scale cub.

this engine sound good,do everything that he must doesWonderful engine. Well machined, smooth transition from lower revs up to 9000rpm. It runs nicely with a 16x4 prop. I wanted to give my Decathlon a lot of torque for aerobatics o/
Just needed to add a pair of mufflers with compression for the fuel tank, didn't want to crash my decathlon in a barrel roll or a loop - gasp

swung with ease all through the rev range. fitted into a H/K Fw 190 and converted to spark ignition to save the paint work from nitro burn cant wait for good weather to take this airborne i ordered mine on a Sunday evening and got it the following Wednesday and of it was a great price as well.
cant fault the quality and finish of this motor.Before first run, you should better check valve clearance. On my engine 3 out of 4 settings where not correct: right cylinder: 0.0mm; 0.1mm - left cylinder 0.25mm; 0.2mmMoteur formidable qui peut se monter dans un capot de moins de 20cm.Pour ma part mont dans un Glassair sportman avec hlice 15X8 Tripale.Je n'ai pas encore eu le temps de le faire tourner mais je suis trs content de mon achat. Livr dans une boite en bois avec les capuchons pour la bougie, il inspire confiance et tout ceci pour la moitie du prix d'un OS; Presse de le mettre en route !!!Unbelievable value in this little gem! Starts up easily and nice idle.
A little loud but I'm looking at attaching mufflers. OS is ridiculous price in comparison. Time will tell how she holds up. Flys my 1/4 cub like a dream.
