Using 2 x 80A ESC AeroStar in a twin OV10 Bronco - have now +100 flights. NO issues at all. Just start up and go flying. Would very much like to buy 2 more..

Good substitute to Aerostar RVS 80A

This ESC is a good substitute to Aerostar RVS 80A used on Grand Tundra, its waterproof and has inflight motor reversing function(you need first to setup brake) usefull when on water or to reduce speed plane on landings. Much easier to program with wifi module(it need few minutes to understand, handle wifi and the program). Application on Android is Flycolor for Windragon. Note : 60A version dosen't have inflight motor reverse function.

Very smooth and high quality ESC

I got a couple of these to test for a dual motor aircraft, and while I haven't yet flown it due to the appalling weather that just won't stop, bench tests show them to be extremely smooth in operation. They start immediately without any hunting and run up to full power perfectly, unlike a few low cost ESCs I've tried in the past! They're also very solidly made, and while slightly larger than a couple of other 80A ESCs I have, seem to run very cool.
The WiFi app works fine, although it could do with more documentation as a couple of the options aren't obvious, and I found that sometimes I had to save the settings to the ESC twice before it would stick. That aside, it works.
The only downside is that I cannot for the life of me get the reverse function to work, no matter what I try, and this seems to be a common complaint. However, that aside, they're a very good value for money ESC and I ended up buying four each of the 80 and 60 amp ones for future models while they were ridiculously cheap, in case they stopped being available :)
