Bought this glider in mid 2009. Electric fit out as follows: >> Cut the nose off! >> Epoxy'd in a ply former/motor mount. >> Cleaned up and resprayed the nose. >> 12x6.5 folding blade. >> High quality spinner and collet of correct size for nose and motor shaft. >> eFlite Power 25 870KV motor. >> 60Amp ESC >> 4S1P 2200 30C Lipo >> Servos to your preference - such a large range out there these days. >> Moved the servo tray back to the sloping former. >> MUST DO > Fibre glassed the floor of the cockpit to prevent cracking during bumpy landings! >> Used blue snake push-pull tube for the rudder instead of the proposed design which binds up! This combination flies like its tail is on fire! Imagine dive-outs from 1000 feet straight down to ground level followed by large unpowered loops right at ground level! Three years and this plane still pleases hugely. Warning, do not use too much elevator when travelling fast! You can easily fold the wings.

Mine arrived today and the overall quality was definitively over my expectations. Have two major issues though. #1: wing pipe= wings are not in 90 degree angle against vertical stabilizer which leans 6-7 degrees to left. A clearly visible fault for naked eye.
#2: one of the winglets is bent to 100 degree angle which gives all wrong geometry when attached to the wing. Unfortunately a quick web search is pointing to the fact that these faults seems to be very common in these kits. Have contacted support center and hoping to get this solved asap.

Best Quality you can buy for this price !

I will change the 8x600mm wing joiner for a carbon tube though.

Fuse = very impressive, mirror-like finish.

Vertical fin looks a bit off 90 degr. in relation to wing. Easy to fix by cutting out and replacing the fin T.E. (hinge post).

On forums many noted the difference in weight between L & R wing halves, mine were less than 2 Gram off!

Canopy could be clearer but is adequate.

Value for money !

Perfect shipment fast arrival in Italy in 10 days. For the price I thought graves insufficient, instead the airplane is very very made, the fuselage is perfect as also it tows to them, sure will fly very well. Council to all this purchase. Hello to all

I installed a pull-pull rudder its one of must do things on this kit the push rods are crap. Also realigned the pins for mounting the wings to the fuse as they were a little out. No major problem. Model flys fast and isnt a floater looks impressive in the air. Would be handy to have flaps. Good value for money.

The first plane arrived damaged during shipping and was efficiently replaced by Hobbyking. The quality of the plane is surprisingly fantastic, except for the canopy which is adequate. I replaced the supplied rudder push rods with a pull-pull system which allows the rudder to move without binding. I haven't flown it yet and am tempted to simply mount it on the ceiling as a piece of art.

Recieved ASW28 today , only 5 days from HK to AU , great stuff .. Plane well packed and other items ordered also packed well ..

The quality of the plane is a whole lot better than most , join seams have been removed and plane has been painted with 2 pak enamel finish ( very nice ) . The only fault I can find is the covering on the wings , some spots lifted , but a quick heat shrink sorted them out .

Dont hesitate great buying.

I received my 28 in only 7 days carefully packed and damage free. I have been reading the build and flying/mod threads on a couple forums for over a year now which tilted my decision to this saileplane. It is a FlyFly kit, it has been improved over earlier examples as it has a tape reinforced, and heavier fuselage. I'm very pleased with the quality of the kit, though I will be adding flaps, and some improvments in hardware.

Nice plane flys grate my setup Is htx 900 servo 2,4 fut 7c rx and 6v 2400mah nmh weight ca 1.6kg
