Hi I bought two of these motors with the 6A Plush ESC. One works perfectly and I'm really looking forward to flying my foamie. The other behaves strangely. I think it's called 'cogging' when it rotates slowly like a ticking clock second hand. I have checked the battery and it is fine. I have programmed the ESC to default and nothing changes. I'm just waiting on another two to arrive so I can substitute the ESC and or the motor to see which is faulty. Brand new kit shouldn't be faulty at all!! very frustrating.

Swapped this out from the 18-11 2000kv on a near-micro (23" WS, 80gr AUW) 3d plane. Made a huge difference in performance. The 2000kv would sag a bit a peak throttle during hovers, showing decreased efficiency shortly into flight on the GWS5030. Switching to this motor with a 6030 gave a bit more head room and sustained hover with a bit of punch out at the end. Definitely an improvement in this weight class.

great motor! just look at the winds: perfect! it has the best winds i have ever seen. and it is a fcat that efficiency improves with how well the winds are done. congratulations, hobby king. it is good to know that finally someone is paying attention to this fact, even if they have to pay more for this to be done. as soon as i testit i will post here the figures.
