Please, please wait for at least a month of driving this car before you rate it. I agree that it is awesome out of the box. But it is impossible to get many of the spare parts. So if, like me you break a small component like me... It's all a total waste of time and money. This is the small part that I need BS32839 shaft. I have been asking HK about it for months, sofar they have removed all my queries promptly, but never ever even answered one of my emails. I also selected 1 crown for value, but it changed to 4. So please wait to rate!

Tons of power, will flip on its back at full throttle from take off. Don't expect the lights to stick around, one roll and they all break off. Have been beating this thing like crazy and have yet to see any damage other than the shell which is just scuffs and bent a little out of shape.

I got my truck for the USA HK. it came on Monday june 30, it was likely boxed..made my 1st. run with it that eveing..today is Wednesday july 2, and something broke !!!!
Motor runs and front and rear driveshafts turn..but that's it....I haven`t look at it that close
because im so pissed off.. 2 days old and I guess ill be waiting on backorderd parts for months... if any one has a idea of what went wrong, let me know...

I have never paid attention to RC cars/trucks, I am a RC flyer with my son. Just out of interest we bought this Monster Truck. I don't know why we never explored them before. Basically we converted the walking track across our street into a dustbowl of mayhem. So many people cheer this thing on. Keep it away from animals and children, its dangerous in the wrong hands too. No issues whatsoever and we've been brutal with this truck. Well done HobbyKing, the value for money here is excellent. Looking to getting another for sure :)

Great value, awesome truck. Definitely need spare steering rod ends as these strip easy. Haven't had any other drams after several runs.

This is an awesome machine! i have 2, and strait from the box they havnt missed a beat in around 40 runs! apart from a few minor things that i fixed on the spot. i found they dont need any extra lube, all my diffs were greased in the factory and any extra elsewhere will just attract dust. Definately the best thing on the site!

This thing is great BUT! YOU WILL NEED TO FILL ALL THREE DIFFERENTIALS WITH OIL! the steering rod ends will strip or fall off in 5 minutes also the Dog bones and shafts are too soft for real every day use with 4S you have been Warned!
4s is a bit much for the drive train "trying the hop up parts to see if they are better"so watch out for things getting lose! eg the motor mount, pinion gear ect Get a bag of rod ends and use the deeper ones on the steering arms so they don't strip quickly. If the motor shaft becomes lose tap it out from the wired side and apply lock tight and make sure you put it back the same way you took it out.
If you drive on gravel lookout for rocks stuck against the drive shafts!
This MT is a blast to drive it will go over most anything you point it at and for $300 you save the difference for the parts you need :).

This truck is awesome it is huge it's bigger than my other 1/8 scales it's almost a 1/5 scale it's reasonably fast and durable my only suggestion is get Loctite you'll need it The only issues I've had is set screws coming loose but a little Loctite will fix that The alignment was a bit off for the front but there's adjustments to correct it overall it's been a good truck I own two of them now one for me and one for the girlfriend Best bang for my buck so far haven't found anything else out there that compares to size value and Quality that this truck offers I give it a 10 out of 10 just waiting on Hobby King to start selling the body for this vehicle I run this truck with a basher body on it because I do not want to Bash up the nitro Circus body because it looks so cool
