Fits perfectly Stiffened the chassis considerably. The chassis with the original piece was twistable by hand. But with this both torsional stiffness and bending stiffness is significantly improved. Great addition for a reasonable price. Shipping was fast at about 2-3 wks from HK to Canada.

Looks and fits great. My holes were not countersunk either but instead of buying new hardware I just did it myself. (I don't recommend tying this with a hand drill as the part is very thin... I used an 82 degree single flute countersink and the twist of my fingers.) This should have been done for me at the factory, or replacement hardware included... but no big deal for a hobbyist who is handy. A few pads of double-sided mounting tape and half a dozen cable-ties would have been nice too.

Fitment was good, as other mentioned, the flat head screws won't work with the plate as the holes are not c'sunk. No biggie. Looks great on the buggy.

I crashed my recently bought Vandal XL and had to replace so I decided to give it a whole new look by replacing it with this carbon fibre version.

Pretty straight forward but you will notice that the screw holes on this plate is not recessed like the stock plate. The best thing to do is buy the cap screw and a recess type anodised washer and it would look perfect. Note that the screw you need has to be slightly longer than the original one as the screw would need to be longer due to it not being recessed.

As said by another review it has no countersunk holes and no replacement screws provided. It does not line up properly either, has to mount extra washes and spacers to have a even chassis. Looks good tho.

Definitely notice a difference in rigidity when combined with carbon/aluminium chassis.
Problems: no hole for antenna like the standard part, had to drill out myself.
Holes aren't countersunk like stock item and cap screws weren't supplied so I had to purchase separately.
Advantages: more rigidity in chassis, flat surface for mounting receiver etc
