A really nice small alloy rudder assembly.

This is a very nice little alloy rudder assembly that I am fitting to my 600mm glass fibre hull that I bought as an unfinished project at the Woodvale Show last week.
The two small water inlets each side of the rudder are very small and neat and will give minimum drag.
Having the lower rudder mounting bracket screw in nylon makes a very good "break-off" point in the event of a rudder strike saving the assembly from greater damage as it can "hinge" upwards on the remaining stainless screw that should be mounted in the higher of the two positions to work properly.
This is a really nicely made rudder assembly and is great value for money.

It is nice rudder but it came with one plastic screw instead of steel one???

Good little rudder. Has a water pickup each side of the blade to ensure consistent water feed. Dimensions are 75mm deep x 57mm from transom. Perfect for 1/16th scale hydroplane.

Very nice rudder, looking crisp and with brass alloy bearing in the hinge. "small"is a bit misleading though (depending on what you expect I guess); I wanted to use it on a 45cm fast-ish boat and I think it will be a bit too big for the boat. It's only marginally smaller than the CNC Boat Rudder (#11767).

Very good quality and price. It's the smaller size, but still too big for a hull of 385mm (like the Turnigy Taipan or Cobra sold by HK).

nice item... looks well made, every thing in the picture is included. Going on a 1/16 scale classic round nose hydro 22.5" long hull.
