flew mine for the first time today. i am running a 4s setup with a g46. i did not do anything to the tail AOA. it flies quite well, the stall is just a forward mush. no wing drop. it really slows down well for landing. aerobatic performance is limited due to the small ailerons. but overall a great flying airplane. anyone who can fly a trainer can fly this plane. not sure why so many people are having trouble with it.Be aware that there are no replacement parts for this plane. I destoyed the cowl while doing an engine test. The plywood engine mount failed at just over half throttle and the engine came out through the cowl destoying it and just missing my leg. That was in December 2011. (Yes 2011). I raised a warranty claim with HK. After 6 months they sent the wrong replacement part (windscreen). I then received a $50 store credit for my troubles and a promise that they would send the correct replacement. Now another 10 months later I am still waiting and HK wont even return my emails or texts to "Bug the Boss". The plane has not yet been flown and will not until I have a proper cowl as it is a scale plane. Disapointing service this time from HK.This Decathlon is very beautiful.

I use with os 46 but the performance is too bad .I crash in my first Flight during 2 minutes and i have 2 years of flight .Can we have more reviews from people who have actually flown this model. I purchased mine from HK in May 2011 and waited until November 2011 for it to be delivered. I set it up with a Turnigy SK4250 650kV motor and 5000mAmp 4S battery. All up flying weight was 2850gm. During a pre flight motor test the plywood motor mount failed and now I am waiting for a replacement cowl. It's now 9 months since I ordered the plane and I have not flown it yet! A friend has flown his and it is almost un-controllable appearing to be very much tail heavy even with the correct CG. Also the plane will not roll. Has anyone else had issues with the plywood motor mount, handling and lack of aileron response? I would appreciate hearing more reviews from people who have actually flown the plane.date: 25-12-201. I thought I would mention the date so you know this is one of the latest reviews of this plane. Firstly regarding the packing. the plane came packed well with all the parts intact without any damages. the airframe weight without any electronics is 1,830g (I dont see how you can get 1900 flying weight). please note that the plane comes with s 260cc fuel tank not a 180cc as mentioned in the description which was good. I installed the suggested HXT 6.9kg servos all around which i would suggest to order a few extra since one of my HTX's didn't center properly so i swapped it out for a new one. I installed an OS 46AX engine on the plane with a 11x6 prop. the full weight of the plane ready to fly came up to 2650g. for the wing supports i suggest you guys use the same pin method that is showed in the files section it makes life alot easier at the field. you can go to the forum build blogs sections to look at more details of my build. flight report coming soonO meu chegou mto bem embalado e sem nenhum dano.
