Solid performance out of the box

Bought this plane about a year ago and have flown it plenty of times (it is my 6th Durafly plane). It is still flying great with no broken parts. Haven't had to replace anything. The motor is powerful enough to fly vertical on a 3s 2200 battery. Flight times on the stock setup with that battery are 20 mins+. The landing gear has survived but it does flop around a bit - the gear clicks into place and there is side to side movement which doesn't look the best in flight but seems to be functional and sturdy. If could have my time again I would still have bought it. I would definitely recommend to others looking for a cheap 3D foamie that is small enough to throw in the boot of your car.

I really like this airplane! It floats, it's maneuverable, and has plenty of power for 3D fun. The kit is real easy to put together and the linkage stoppers it comes with make rigging so easy. After this bird I ordered 40 of them for all future build. You'll definitely appreciate how easy it is to slide them out to make room for the rx install. The construction is real solid and durable. Other foamies I've bought don't have as rigid feel as this one does. I fly with the 1000 mah Nano battery and a dsm rx. I just set my rates to 70/100 with 20% exp and didn't bother with the recommended setup. The flight characteristics are great. Its so light for itts size the stall speeds are a lot lower as compared to other birds i've flown. It will do nice tricks with the low rates and tighter ones with the high. I did a rolling circle with it on the maiden flight right after trimming it because it handled so well i was real confident with it. To top it off... It lands like a feather! This one is worth the shipping. Get some extra 9x5's because the one that came with my kit didn't fit and it doesn't hurt to have spares. 5 stars

First power model after a break from the hobby. Wow I was not disappointed, I thought at the price it would be a bit of a let down but it's blown me away.
Easy to put together with some foam tac, my first flight I torque rolled it so watch your throttle input. It really doesn't need a lot to take off :) Now I just put it full throttle and pitch it straight up out of my hand.
It needs concrete or a VERY tight mown strip, mine is a bit rough so I took the spats off the wheels. The undercarriage is a weak point, beefed mine up with a bit of glue and lolly sticks.
This plane makes me look a great pilot haha, unlimited vertical on a 3s 1000 pack I can pretty much do what I want with it. Nice and stable yet responsive.
I'll buy another once I've worn this out completely.
