What can I say it's smaller than I thought. And mine came in with the wrong size motor shaft was to short too install the propeller. But hobbyking sent me a replacement motor but going threw all the red tape WOW! Hobbyking you need to work on your product support they have not a clue about this hobby.... maybe my communicating skills need to worked on are something you tell me I thought the video was enough. And another thing the build of the model just enough glue to barely finish the plane very small tube of glue so use it sparingly. And Durafly QA needs to be worked on come on you guys can do better than that. Anyways as soon as the weather gets better I'll do my maiden flight I'll keep you all posted.

Really nice plane. Flies great, easy take off and landing. Depending on how you set it up it would be good for the beginner to advanced. Capable of aerobatics or just puttin' around. One of my favorite planes. No problems getting here, no problems with parts or assembly CG spot on. Use 2.2 Nano battery get about 9 min flights with moderate aerobatics. As others have said the battery hatch is on the bottom and is not attached. I have it attached with fishing line just in case, with that said the only time it popped off was on a rough landing, never in flight even while throwing it around the sky. Nice plane good job!

Plane looks very nice. Nice details, easy to build.
BUT be carefull that you inspect everything before first flight ( also the things who are already build in)
My first flight takes about 2 min and crashed. MOTOR CAME LOOSE
Result, landing gear replacement, lost 1 fixingplate for the landinggear, wings still ok.
I was Lucky I bought a second pair of landing gear with my plane.
Hope my second flight will be smoother

Followed tips below (bigger wing screws, glued a string to the battery hatch, glued the gear on). Used fishing knots for the rigging then a dab of glue.
Fun to fly, actually goes pretty fast. I'm going to add 1 servo lead and have flaps as well to help slow it down. Has issues with stalling at slow speeds, tends to roll and takes a bit to recover. Flys off of grass. Durable...rolled and crashed after a couple of stalls and no damage!

What a great little plane.Arrived from USA warehouse, no damage. Build was easy, all electronics worked. Glued everything on except wing. Reinforced landing gears so they won't pop out and installed a safety on the battery door. Using a Hobbyking Nano-Tech 2.2 25-50C. Balanced perfect! Beautiful detail. Installed wire struts I made on the rudder instead of string. Because of the cabin glass had to use longer wing screws to attach wing. Watch my maiden in the video file. Thanks Hobbyking and Durafly!!

This plane is really nice and well made, its not the fastest ive ever had (my Piper J3 Cub 1030mm is much more faster), but has really good torque to flight vertical and some 3D, the motor has plenty of power. And you can fly very very smooth and slow with it (without stall) . Its not difficult to flight, landings also very easy. I recommend this Plane also for Beginners, because all Spare Parts are available. Flight Time is with small throttle about 10-12minutes with my 2200mah 25C Turnigy. Always give a small amount of throttle at landing, then it touches down smoothly without hopping. I would definitely buy that thing again, and would buy it instead of a piper cub imho

This is my first plane after having learned on a cox skycruiser. I was awe struck by the excellent flight video Hobbyking created and i have not been disappointed. My recommendations for other beginner pilots with regards to this plane are as follows:

1. Have a good take off and landing runway. The min speed for this plane is pretty quick and I often ran it past my dirt runway on landings.

2. Using a 2200 battery I still found it helps to have a little weight in the nose - I use 3 quarters taped in the battery pod.

3. The throws are pretty tame on this plane. It flies very scale even at full throws, so while it's still a good idea to fly your first flight with dampened controls, you will feel confident to remove your dampener very quickly.

4. Buy an extra prop and motor. The rod in the motor can bend quite easily, and while it's not too difficult to remove the rod and straighten it, having an extra motor handy is nice until you have time to fix the damaged one.

5. Use glue on the rigging wire. The rubber rigging wire does not hold a knot at all, but by using a tiny drop of glue that comes with the plane the knots hold just fine.

6. Mixing rudder on your turns really helps with this plane - I still struggle with this but doing so makes the turns look so much better than an aileron only turn.

7. Don't worry if you need a spare part and they are not available at the ti

Great looking and flying model, the only issue is that the landing struts/gear don't fit flush and so look a little odd :O Other than that it's awesome. Can fly scale, or amp up the power for some impressive maneuvers!
