was faulty on delivery took a lot of emails to get a replacement original order came as I ordered ems 24$ --- HK sent it back snail mail I have spent over 10 thousand dollars in the last 11 years --- would never have made it with my company if I ran it this way .

I recently recieved another product from hk i was not happy with. the items were 2 edf fans that were in poor condition. I was offered $6 dollars by way of compensation. Neat offer but the units I had intended to purchase and paid $48 for were the ones advertised. The ones i recieved looked very much like they had been returned by another happy customer and then sent to me. Sending a faulty product and then crediting the customer for the cost of what the parts to make a new one would cost is a rediculous plan for any company. I was told after i rejected the offer that I could return the product at my own cost and would get a restocking fee deducted from the credit for the value of the items in my account. I dont even think thats legal. At this point with the cost of postage and whatever the unknown "restocking" fee is there is little value in pursuing the affair any further. After spending around $1300.00 with your company over the last 9 months I have yet to recieve an order that i have been totally satisfied with. The most recent order I made had 3 batteries that I am planning to use in 2 edf jets and a jarge Fpv plane which I am ordering from another site because I am not willimg to have to deal with hk customer service levels and packaging ability. Tested on the bench,.. 23A!! on 2cell 1000mha 20c batt- too much! I'll be running this on 1cell batt.

These EDF units seem well made though of the two I purchased a few months ago, one of the fans was rubbing on the outer housing. I managed to make some clearance and commissioned them yesterday. Within a few minutes of run time (fortunately on the bench) both of the units shed their fans. One has its hub destroyed and is not serviceable the other just came off and went spinning towards the ceiling. The fans look as though they were glued on with Loctite or similar and they are a tight fit onto the shaft so ayn adhesive in the bore of the fane was scraped off and left as a dob on the end of the shaft - given that there is 170 odd grams trying to pull the fan off this method of fixing seems very inadequate - they are definitely value for money but only if the perform as expected which to date they have not. I need now to try to attach the fans so they will stay on.
