Information was very scarce on this EDF unit, -
I took a chance and bought one, so I can now
add some details.

Duct Dimensions :
Front to Back 33.0mm
Outside Diameter (including the stiffening ribs) : 75.5mm
Outside Diameter (excluding ribs) : 69.5mm
Inside Diameter : 67.0mm
Lip Depth : 3.8mm (this is the distance from the back edge
of the duct to the start of the back rib) I intend to drill a
69.5mm circular hole in a 5mm bulkhead and glue the duct
in using this lip.

(using part-charged 7.2v NiMh Race Pack)

The blade clearances were OK for all four blades,
but I notice now that there is some scuffing on the
inside of the duct - probably caused be me holding the
fan unit a bit too tight while it was revving at 18,000RPM!

I have an idea as to how to test the static thrust of the unit
on the kitchen scales - I need to build a simple test rig, so
I will report back if/when I have managed to measure the thrust.

I am intending to use it on a 25" x 30" semi-scale hovercraft -
I am not sure whether a small ducted fan like this has enough
airflow to work OK - again I will report back.

its not that bad as you might think so. about 500g torque
it can run out of 20A speed controller.
