Good cheap filament. Prints good and does not vary in diameter. I like the esun filament spool construction. It has a clear body so you can see easily how much filament is left, and the spool has a nice system for putting the end of the filament into when taken out of the printer. Only downside is that the filament sometimes gets a little brittle in the spool so you snap it when bending even slightly.

Damn this fillament is very easy to print with... very good quality, very cheap, and amazingly easy to print, 210 degree 60 bed 60 speed and goooooooo , dont forgot to level your bed if you dont wanna mess it up guys

i ordered this thinking it'd be the same as the Esun 500g rolls of black PLA filament upon opening the box i noticed this is a matte finish PLA and not Gloss like i assumed (because the 500g roll is) anyway i decided to print with it thinking it'd print like my previous 500g rolls but nope! don't get me wrong it prints great but its not exactly black! nor what I was expecting or want! its more like a dark, dark grey! am i the only one experiencing this? has my order been stuffed around?

Great filament

I have quite a few rolls of ESUN and all print great.
It prints best at a higher temperature than the HobbyKing brand. This black has a lovely glossy finish, it’s smooth and consistent when printing time after time. It’s fixable enough to straighten so easy to feed into the head or Bowden tube and never found it to be brittle or brake. Can’t fault the print quality I’m getting from this with my settings and printer, Especially at this price.
It’s in a presentable retail box, the spool is solid and clear so you can see how much is left on the real. It comes vacuumed packed with a silica bag in side.

Unfortunately this PLA doesn't melt with acetone, therefore it is not possible to make the surface of 3D objects smoother.

Very good quality product. It comes vacum sealed with a silica bag. The prints look amazing with this fillament, this is the best fillament I used so far.

NOTE! Forgot about the default crown rating and just hit Post, I have corrected this.

I purchased 3 rolls of the black PLA and I have to say the quality matches the price (not very good quality product). It prints but has a very rough top surface finish with small pieces of black flakes released to the surface from the melted PLA, not sure what cheap additives are within this product to help make up cheap bulk in this material. Also it does not have the normal pleasant PLA sweet smell, it smells more chemical based.

I normally buy American PLA and am used to buttery smooth PLA Prints and material finish. But tried this because it was available locally in Australia.

This product just does not deliver, not sure what the hell Lulzbot are doing promoting it. I also use the E3D hot end as per previous reviewer (L2smith2) but his material must have come from a different manufacturer as my conclusions / experiences are different.

Not saying you should not buy this it prints but be aware of what you are getting for the price.
