I love this little plane it has been flown just about every weekend for the last 2 1/2 years I never grow tired of flying it I use a 950 nanotech 2 cell and it balances fine and flies awesomely, I have decided to remove the wheels as I fly mainly from grass the props are brittle but I always keep a few spares as they are not expensive, it will fly slow and scale like or can be thrown about like a racer best plane I have bought from Hobbyking superb value for money

Great plane ! Really moves well with acrobatic stunts no problem. Quick and easy to put together. Hand launch at full throttle then back off to half and this plane flys awesome. Get a mate to fly one and try a dog fight you can do anything with this model. I've since upgraded to the 1100 durafly range of war birds but still love throwing this one in the air for a warm up or just because :)

I booked this F4U Corsair as its first radio-controlled model . Parcel arrived quite quickly. Was well packaged . However, on a large wing has some minor defects, which seem to me to have been made in the packaging . And I think another reason that the tube of glue , too, was a bit squashed (at the time of delivery it could not happen ) . Model F4U Corsair, which came to me , is different from the one shown in the photo. The difference is that the elevator and ailerons , and much smaller configuration than shown.

In the description of the model states that are not needed for the assembly adhesive . However, the horizontal tail stabilizer can not be established without glue .

Svervo elevators poorly adjusted ( elevators are only down).

Flying qualities F4U Corsair I have not tested it (no battery and the bad weather).

Externally F4U Corsair looks nice , but if it is not particularly straight. The paint on the fuselage applied unevenly, with some spots.

In the future, I want to buy a servo for the rudder . All necessary mounting for him to complete it is.

While this is my first impressions . As soon as my experience with the model F4U Corsair will accumulate , I will write my reviews .

Having a lot of fun with this smaller F4U! a bit tricky with torque roll on first flight- get battery all the way up front to get COG correct or you will have troubles. Added servo for rudder with little difficulty, very nice. Landing a bit fast. Hand launches easy, just be prepared for torque roll. Get some two blade props for this as 3 blade usually breaks with belly landing. big enough but not too big. Love the color scheme. Looking to purchase another model in this size range, fits easy in car.

Wow flew its maiden flight for the first time today, finally the weather has been nice, arrived as usual from the aussie warehouse within 3 days of ordering and packed really well, but boy is this plane hard to find the COG, first flight was crazy with full elevator held up for flight, was way to nose heavy, and i thought i had it spot on within the 63mm as recommended by the manual, it was no where near it, moved the battery back a few mm and still nose heavy, flying on low rates with 60pcnt exp, and still a very twitchy plane, to get the cog right on this plane i had to modify the Canopy as once i moved the battery back the Canopy would not close, had to cut away foam, which i hate doing, then on the 3rd flight the UC, ripped off, the plastic mounts just came right out, once i investigated it you could see that only one small blob of glue was put in, in honesty its probably good that not much glue was used as it did not damage the foam. So basically what i am trying to say is that it took hours and hours to get it sorted, but once i got the COG correct , this is a dream to fly, and fun and quite surprisingly fast. So just because of the time spent on setup i give it 4 stars, would not recommend this plane to beginner, even hard for a intermediate pilot like myself to sort out. Good luck and happy flying

Optimum aircraft with good finishing, fitting c / g perfect. I had just cut a small finish flaw in the cockpit. The glue that came with the kit is also good quality, so I'm using another aircraft that were in need of a glue.

Beautiful, durable and perfect flight. Watch the CG and the amount of movement of the ailerons and elevators. In my model installed rudder servo. Quite useful for takeoff and landing while the wheel is fixed tailwheel. I recommend.

Fantastic product, nice and shiny. Came well boxed but few dent and dings in shipping - no problem. The small 20gr glue is included. Will fly again.

What a cool little plane cannot get enough of it push a 1000ma 2 cell as far into the nose as you can and enjoy it it loops well from level flight can handle a little wind no probs , I have even flown it on a 750ma 2 cell no noticeable difference in performance .
I love this little model
