Bought from the UK Warehouse,Great plane for the money, went together a treat only gripe as mentioned before was the horizontal stabs were warped, sorted with some carbon rod and super glue.

All the hardware supplied was used and is up to the job, nice to find the motor is now a out runner, and there is a pilot in the cockpit.

Not wrung it out yet just two test flights with 1000 mah batt,no drama launch with a good chuck,no vices in flight good glide and land, only thing i found was it climbed on throttle so mixed some down elevator in my radio much better 2nd flight.

Well pleased with this purchase.

P.S coated transfers with WBPU to stop peeling.

Good value, looks good too, don't waste your time with 850mah battery as they are too light and you'll never get correct c.g.i use a 1300mah now and works perfect.

I was happy with the simple build and reasonable quality, but when I went to set it up everything worked as it should except the motor, which didnt work at all.

I figured it was the ESC so I had a spare 30amp esc which I inserted and bingo all good. Not sure if motor was squashed in too tight and blades couldn't turn or if the ESC was faulty.

Anyway will maiden this weekend and it looks like fun.

I hope the CG in the manual is correct because it seemed pretty critical if you were just off when balancing it.

I'm going to fly with a 3s 1300mAh 40c, should be good!

Ordered this from the new UK warehouse....at last, paid for 24hr delivery and got.....48 hr delivery as the most important part of the address was left off the label....oh well what was the plane like, great came very well packed and was all secured nice inside the box. No damage was found however the tailplane halves and fin were warped a bit, no worries though it only took 2 mins to straighten them. It went together rey quick but remember to sand the paint off any surfaces to be glued. I have flown it with a 1500 mah pack and power was fine she flew like a champ. Great value for money and mine was fine straight from the box. Control surface movements as standard make for a lively plane so some expo or reduced rates are good for the first few flights. The only issue I have had is with the pre applied water slide transfers, they are very brittle and a falling off/rubbing off all over.

Great little plane for cheap route into EDF.

I got the PNP blue F9F. It took about 2 1/2 hours to finish using 5 min epoxy. Very straight forward assembly, no problems during assembly. I used the recommended Turnigy 800mAh 3S 20C Lipo, so I cut off the 2mm connector and put one of the little red connectors, works fine. With the Turnigy 800mAh 3S it balances perfectly if you put the battery all the way forward.
The plane took a little down to trim, the elevator's bottom is parallel with the stab on mine when trimmed properly. Hand launches are easy the jet flys out straight, once it gets a little speed it climbs out well, at hand launch speed the ailerons aren't real effective, so throwing with the wings level is important.
I fly the jet at about 75pcnt throttle and get 5 minutes, with a flew loops and high-speed passes at 100pcnt. Balanced where they recommended cutting power and then trying to hold altitude the plane will sink straight ahead with no tendency to drop a wing, if you land this way do it from about a foot up. Flying 150 foot circles in a figure 8 at 1/3 throttle it was very stable, no bad habits. The plane stays right where you put it, it will not level the wings by itself. I could not get it to ROGrass like I've seen some little jets do.
In conclusion I can't think of anything wrong with this plane, well worth the money.

Well, I just got back from the flying field after the maiden flight and i am really impressed.
As for my flying experience I just started back into this hobby after a 17 year hiatus. With 15 years of active flying before that. I purchased a skyarttech Cessna 182. After about 40 flights on that I was ready for something with better performance.
I flew this jet on a 3 cell 20c 1000mah turnigy battery and got about 6 to 7 minutes out of it.
I set my aileron expo at 50pcnt as somebody else suggested and that was perfect for me.
A good hard toss at full throttle with about a 10 degree nose up seemed to be the best for this plane. (i had three flights today). The jet seems to float a little which caused me to overshoot the grass landing area and put it down on the road. It was barely scratched. On the third flight I landed at my feet. I am going to mix some down at full throttle so it will not climb. (somebody else also suggested that).
I highly recommend this jet, the performance is good and everyone at the field takes notice.

MY FAVOURITE LITTLE EDF - GREAT FOR A BEGINNER. I am starting to loose track of how many planes I own, but this is definitely one of my favourites. I use a 1000 mah high C battery and this jet easily takes off by sliding on grass (on its belly). Easy hand launch too, but for beginners, sliding from grass is safest! It is stable, flies nice and easy and glides in to land beautifully. If you want to do some fancy stuff, it rolls like a drill bit. Seriously, if you are looking for a beginner EDF, take it from me - I wish I got this to learn on (after crashing many other EDFs). Highly recommend this one! P.S After a few brownouts, i now use a separate bec or vlotage capacitor with my EDF jets and haven't lost a plane since!

WOW, what a Jet. As we all expect, when you buy any plane from Hobbyking, it will be great... after a loooong time of modding, but not this one. I used hot glue to put it all together which took me around 30 minutes (only because my hot glue gun is old and broken, so glue was going everywhere and I had to clean up after every use ); ). I just used hot glue to attach the two elevator control horns to the surfaces which was easy as anything. putting it together was simple. what I really love is that you do not need to mod the plane AT ALL, even the battery compartment (if you use the recommended 850mah lipo) is gr8. Make sure you mount the battery far into the nose, TRUST ME, even if the cg ends up FEELING nose heavy, it wont be, the jet will fly great, dont listen to the manual. I used a 30c 850 mah 3s lipo, and the power was brilliant. hand launching was a breeze (I hate hand launching, I am never good at it, but when I threw this one, it glided beautifully into the air at full throttle). After about 2 mins of flying I went to land it as it was still too tail heavy and I wanted to shift the battery more into the nose. With the jet about 60 or 70 metres in the air, I pulled the throttle all the way down, and it glided incredibly good. Wind seems to have not a big effect on it for the size which is great.

All in all, for the price, and the fact that you need to do nearly no m
