I too was a little disappointed with the antenna facing down.
And its Left. I used a different antenna and a 90 degree elbow to make it work.
its still HD quality and lightweight, so I do use it.

Dissappointing product, as others mentioned the antenna needs to face down. I tried to correct this by opening the box and turning the camera unit upside down, but all is soldered solid so too bad.

Very disapointg with the product. The antena must be facing down in order to atain a correct picture. This problem limit a lot the mounting options.
Not a goog focus out of the box. Need to be refocus manually.
