One Star Only. I received my package in very good condition less than three weeks after ordering. On inspection, the Carbon Fiber 11 X 6 Folding Propeller was found to be faulty, below standard and unsuitable for use.

One blade has a deep uneven cavity in the moulding at the hub shaft housing. This serious weakness is unsightly and will make the prop difficult to balance. I am concerned about the risk of prop fracture in operation. The same blade has significant abrasions around the base and there are scratches along parts of its trailing edge.

The other blade is pitted in various places on both sides and there are abrasions on both sides. On the leading edge there is evidence of minor chipping. The glossy finish usually associated with these props is not evident in this case.

I am disappointed that QC did not pick up these defects the item is not top quality and new as advertised. Earlier this year, HK supplied me a fantastic carbon fiber 11 X 8 Folding Propeller (Item 445000070-0) in a previous order. I think it came from a different line. It is great and still looks as good as new.
