came swiftly in nice undamaged boxes was fun to assemble the manual was clear and anticipated that the shape of the wings can be formed so one can give it a sort of wingprofile as wel as upward bent wingtip just by squeesing the board first i thought it didnt matter but when i squeest the wing in the correct shape the hornet flew supprb you just wont believe how it took off it was mind blowing im gonna order 2 more love it thank you hobbyking and great prize to later...........

Can fly a very great distance. Tip do your elastic dubble around the stick so you can get your to fly a graiter distance

Great idea but unfortunate that the slots cut out in the tailplane for the fins were incorrectly positioned, They should be about 10mm further apart to match the width of the fusalage. Also both of the two I purchased had the front wing support broken during transport. They should not be pre installed.The adhesive on the re-inforcers should be improved as it tends to become unstuck, particularly on the underside of the wing and tailplane.
If these items can be addressed it will become an excellent and great value introduction to aeromodelling for young kids.

Great toy for my son, it needs 2 people to operate with the catapult, if you want to use the added rubber band, which is recommended to get enough power. Flyies 20m easily, in slight wind even further. Wooden hull and depron wings, nice finish.

These are pretty fun.....well worth the "pocket change" HK asks for them. Shipping is another story. The F-18 is available in the USA Warehouse. These are very big and a little difficult for small kids (3-6) to toss. The Launcher Rubber band is weak and snaps very easy........grab some "good" rubber bands before you go out. (As well as some foam glue!) A stationary launcher or 2 man launch works great for small kids. Very durable with rubber nose, wood center and foam. Overall I call it excellent, cheap fun for hours.

Superb quality - way above the other catapult-launch free-flight models here. Very rugged construction and flies very well. Forget the SU-27, pay the extra couple of dollars for this one, it's fantastic value.

serious hardware ! balsa fuselage and what i suspect is depron for the surfaces... not yet flown, but for the money it is a steal even if i crash and burn :) big enough to actually consider a 1s pusher conversion
