The Archer line of receivers has been enhanced further with the Plus Series, they include some exciting new features. Firstly an enhanced anti-RF-Interference capability can offer a more solid RF performance, they also feature ACCESS and ACCST D16 modes where the RF protocol is smart matched during the binding process. Another feature is a Black-Box function, which records basic flight details such as power and signal-related data.
The FrSky Plus SR8 receiver is designed for use in RC airplanes, it works as a traditional 8-Channel PWM Rx, but it also has a built-in 3-axis gyro and a 3-axis accelerometer sensor module. With the built-in sensors, the Plus SR8 will compensate for outside forces on the airplane and will enhance the stability making it easier and smoother to fly. The Plus SR8 supports multiple flight modes, Auto-level, Stabilization, Hover, and Knife-Edge. Also available are several configuration methods, these include LUA, or the FrSky S.port Airlink+ combined with the Freelink App.
The receiver supports a full-range signal strength with dual detachable antennas to assure optimal antenna reception and maximum range. The Archer Plus SR8 can also be used as a primary receiver in a redundant setup. This is achieved by wiring the SBUS "In" port of the SR8 to any other FrSky receiver equipped with an SBUS "Out" port.
With the FBUS protocol, the Archer Plus series receivers can open up the possibility of seamlessly pairing with multiple telemetry devices (XACT servos, ADV Sensors, etc) as well as simplifying the building, and radio setup.
Please note: Some features require the support of ACCESS and ETHOS, and the 4 in 1/Multiprotocol is supported only with firmware 1.3.3.29 and above.
