The 2600mAH set up 2S2P for 6.6V is the perfect reliable and steady power for hardcore giant scale 3D flying. I run two sets on a Powerbox Royal battery redundancy system. Enough power to fly the 40pcnt 150cc Gasser five (5) flights without any worry. Recharge is so fast. Hook up my HK Quattro 4X6 and pump them up to full charge in 12 minutes, go for another 5 flights. No power sag with high loads, these things really deliver.

Great cells much better then white ones. Very easy to solder. Using it in sulivan dynatron strter in 5s configuration easy takes to 100A peak. The socong one is used in 3s configuration with field fuel pump. Great value for the price will buy more of thee.

I grabbed 4 of these to replace 12 NiCads in my battery drill. The drill has now got more performance than it ever had - the self-discharge is miserly enough to be ignored. The fast charge capability is very gratifying, but I felt it was essential to put a 15 amp fuse into the circuit lest I get carried away and smoke the motor. It seems to be able to deliver more torque now in high gear than it was able to manage in low with the nicads.
There is an occasional smell of ozone from the motor, but I can live with that. I'm impressed enough to seriously consider making some flight packs using these.
Great product HK, not the cheapest out there, but incredible value, compared to the cheap "claimed A123" on sale elsewhere.

this is a genuin A123 for sure, same as my dewalt pack!! the important thing here is soldering tabs that makes life easier for assembly, no hassle soldering. therefore pay attention not to touch the heat shrink with your iron,otherwise you could easily endup with a shortcircuit( self destruction of your battery,nothing to do except looking at your battery becomming red and spitting some kind of liquid. thanx god!!!! no fire, no explosion)

I am surprised. Bought 6 of these genuine A123 cells yesterday. Then I went to the enerland HP and was informed that A123 subsidiary Enerland doesn't produce these cells anymore since January 24th 2011.

So my question is, how can Hobbyking ship "Genuine A123 cells" from Enerland if Enerland doesn't produce them anymore?

Soo...i've bought 6 of those cells, BUT all of them came GREEN not WHITE...



Anyway, i'm building 2 packs for my CopterX 450 right now, later i'll post if all the cells came OK

I bought 04 cells to make 02 packs 2S and all cells were well balanced at 3.30V. But I received the GREEN Ones not the White ones as the Ad. After first charge, the discharge at 1A got only 2100mAh!!

Note: to assemble a 2S pack you could use this connector to balance plug (hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9735)
