Ordered the GT A6 charger based on the many great reviews. My complaint really isn't about the charger so much as HK. charger arrived after 2 weeks waiting. The software and USB cable were not included nor do I have a mini-USB port on the charger. I emailed support and Matthew continues to email me back saying the cable is not included. I told him look at my order, click on the item and it clearly states it IS included. I truly believe they sent me an older model without the USB port. HK makes you jump through hoops like a circus poodle to get something resolved. This is clearly HK's approach to customer service. Wear their customers down and make the process as difficult as possible therefore the customer will give up.
Does anyone know if the temp probe port can be used as a USB interface? I think the software can be downloaded elsewhere for free. Not sure if there is a USB cable for that temp probe port.

Great product. I have used it for two year with no problems. Used it powered by an AC transformer, a stand alone lead battery and a car cigarette lighter plug on my car. The steps to use the charger are very simple and straightforward with checks to prevent the connection of the wrong battery for the parameters used.

My only complaint about the product is its documentation.

Excellent value, and pretty good build quality. It's nice and rugged and comes with most of the leads I need to charge using a car battery right out of the box. Paired it with a rigged PC power supply and it becomes my home charger.

REALLY good deal!

Had it for 2 years (got if from a friend that purchased it from here) and it hasn't let me down once! The software works but it's difficult to find (I did find at some point a newer version of the one that comes with the CD) and you won't need it unless you plan to do battery comparisons and performance testing.

I received the GT-6A today with the HK 60W power supply (ID: 9052000014). I'm still playing around it and it is a, according to me, perfect match. Power supply cool and stable, and the charger do its job so nice I have no complaints about quality, value or anything but the funny little unit with the USB connector on the PC board and the pigtail with the black plug. Maybe if I know what it is for that will make me happy also.

Thumbsuck do bring up the idea that it may be some firmware or software update interface. It will be nice if someone can enlighten me on that, and if HK can drop a little note in the box.

Looks nice. I have used it once so far to charge a 8000mah lipo. Took around 50 mins on normal charge. Nice package containing leads. I would reccommend this charger.

excellent charger,good quality, reliable and easy to use. comes with all the connectors so you dont have to make your own ,wish it came with the power supply but its no hassel to connect to a battery. i would definately recommend this charger.

Just got this last week as a backup charger ..now its the main one I use.easy to use. Hook it up to your computero and run logview to monitor your batteries.

Great charger, but manual a little hard to understand. Can someone please tell me how to program indivdual battery settings and retain safety setting for each battery( max mah-max charge time- max temp)? Or do you have to load safety setting everytime you charge battery a different battery?
