Looks like a good EDF unit, but I couldn't find a 24mm brushless motor that would fit into it.
Any suggestions?

This is a really good value for the money. I have 2 pairs of these, running on the Boeing 727 shown in my profile pic and on my Airbus A330-200. Running with GWS BLM005A (3900kv) on 4S each of these units gives me approx. 375g of thurst @ about 15A. The Airbus is 1.4m / 1.4kg and cruises upwind under very strong winds at about 40pcnt throttle. These units run smooth and are pretty serviceable.

This is an excellent 55 EDF unit. The housing is strong and the impellor is nice and solid. There is very little gap between blades and housing which is good (very flush). Motor mount diameter is about 24mm maximum. Will fit inrunners this size. The turnigy EDF motors 26 and 28 series will fit no worries. It comes with a brushed motor which will I will throw away.

tested this fan with this motor: Turnigy 2810 EDF Outrunner 4000kv. battery i used was a 2100mah 3S 35C zippy, Static thrust on digital scale was 550grams, very impressive

I use it with 2610 EDF 4500kV with 3S it pull hard for my modified mini F18. With 4S it is incredible but not tested in fligh because Lipo to heavy for this plane. Well balanced as well. Be aware to buy adaptor shaft for your motor as the one in this kit is 2mm only. just great with brushless.

Excelente EDF , muito bem acabada.
Com motor Hyperion Y22 de 6000Kv e consumo de 30A com bateria de 3S ela atinge 500g de empuxo.
Recomendo a todos !

Had to modify a bit to fit the HXT 2040 (130L) 4850kv Brushless Inrunner motor, but it worked out in the end. The fan was very smooth and balanced from the get go. Drew 27amps on 3s lipo.



Impressed by the balance and smoothness.
