Die Decals gehen schon ab. bei auspacken/ansehen. Epp ist weicher wie bei andern Modellen. z.B.: Der erste Bixler. Deshalb habe ich die Nasenleiste mit einer Innenseele vom Bowdenrohr und 0,8 Stahldraht verstärkt. Das Höhenleitwerk ist mit sehr wenig Aufwand leicht auf abnehmbar umzubauen

Just an update after the maiden. This thing is fantastic, 2 clicks of down trim was all that was required for straight and level flight
Ballistic with the twin motor upgrade with easy 8 min flight times using 3S 2650 lipo
Couldn't get to tip stall at all, winds picked up to 15-20 KM per hr, no problem
With the differential thrust setup you can really explore the flight envelope and of course the twin prop setup sounds great, thanks HK

Picked up the kit version in the recent sale as I already have the Bixler 1.1
Nice looking kit and as others have stated, the decals are very fragile
I have fitted 2 x motor pods for a twin setup using Turnigy 2200kv outrunners and 6x4 counter rotating props, 2 x 50A speedies in the fuselage on a 3S 2650 nanotech which sets the CG at the wingspar. Will setup differential thrust on a switch to assist the flight experience
Like the clip on wing upgrade so will have connectors fitted so i can remove the wing for transport. Done away with the landing gear as I have added quality fibre tape to the belly for easy ground takeoffs. Decided to utilise the flaps because I could. Overall weight comes to 1.4kg. Yet to maiden. Would recommend purchasing at sale price only, looking forward to comparing it with my other Bixler.

Decals need real stickers not transfers.
Thrust line means you need to mix elevator and throttle to overcome dive on power application.

New airframe

My old Bix 3 had a tough life, perhaps because it was so much fun to fly. After a terminal crash into a nasty tree it was beyond reasonable repair. All the components were undamaged, so I bought the kit to replace the airframe.
I had forgotten how good a nice fresh Bixler can look.

Missing the motor

It is supposed to have the motor pre-installed but it was not present in the box.
