Just received Today Very nice motor except for one thing, the prop savers to big to fit most size props we all use. It does not come off either, so only one choice here is to turn down the size so it does. If you Look real close at the pics of this style motor you can see the difference in the shoulders. The HK2613-1900kv is the same as this one, but the HK3011-1900kv has the smaller dia. that does fit APC style props. Hope this Helps in finding the right motor.

Great motors... my current favourite even over the blue wonders! Very nice bearings and clean windings. CF mount is really nice too. One caution - if you're using 8" props on 2S do not run the same prop on 3S - ask me how I know ;-). I'm attempting a rewind / rebuild of one now. Luckily I have 2 more on the way, but I wanted to try doing a rewind because these are so well put together. Very, very, quiet and well balance motors. I should stop now before everyone starts buying up stock and I can't get any more! LOL

I've flown this on my foam design that's about 150 grams AUW (incl lipo). Flies great and has plenty of power to spare. The built in carbon'ish motor mount is removable, but there's no need as the mounting holes are beyond the bell and easily accessible. My only comment is that one of the two I ordered had a very very slight vibration when spinning without a prop on. After checking the prop saver screws and giving them an extra tightening the vibe was gone. (they were not loose, but the extra 1/4 turn seems to have helped.) I'll be buying more of this one for sure.

Great quality of parts, poor winding.

I got this motor to put on an indoor 150g plane I'm building. Since US warehouse had only 1700 Kv, I bought it intending to rewind to higher Kv. I found that the quality of parts is wery good, but the winding with 29ga wire was rather poorsome teeth had 21 and some 22 turns.

I wound this motor with 16 turns of 24ga wire to reach 2300 Kv. The motor runs well: at 1 mile altitude of Colorado, it pulls 70W from Hyperion VX G3 400mAh 2S battery with GWS 8x4 DD prop.
