I installed the grommets on my Assault 700. I just bored out the existing holes to 10mm, the diameter of the gromet's thread. You stick the bit containing the rubber in from the outside and screw the bolt-bit on from the inside. Use a couple of pliers to securely fasten them. They look very nice and won't pop out like the standard rubber ones. Pro tip: use gloves. You are working with glass fiber. My fingers itched for days, after modding the hood! ;)

Hi, i use these on my hk550 and assault 700 helis and fits perfect instead of rubber grommets that came originaly with the KIT. i had to widen a hole on the canopy a little to fit it. Bye

Very nice fit on 600GT and the 600E canopies. Needs little drilling and provides smooth and snag fit on the heli.

opening for these is huge, they are most likely for trex600. I had to enlarge the holes on my trex500 canopy quite a lot. I didn't like doing that to my original align canopies.

These are cool very easy to install and makes the canopy look even better. Would be nice if they came in other colours
