This thing might be useful for some really lightweight tasks, but the wires are too flexible to hold a battery connector steady enough for soldering.

I often had the problem of gluing or soldering many small parts. With this new tool, this is no longer a problem and many actions go very well. I did not want to give away the tool anymore.

Useless for soldering

In the box you can see it's meant for painting. It's made of plastic and it melts. Also, the joint between the clamps and the bars are not strong enough and don't stay up.

Cheap and weak

The idea is good and initial shape is ok, but it's plastic, so no using for soldering, the holderung sleeve that holds the stems on the rods are loose, one falls over by itself, the others will fall down when holding something. Needs a heavier base to stay upright better, unless you happen to have a metal desktop, which mine is wood, with some high temp silicone to work on.

Half of the cheap plastic alligator clips fell apart the first time I tried to use it. The mounting pipes would turn and cause the ‘arms’ to fall over and out of place. Nice idea that I wish worked but it was a waste of money
