Great kit from hk. Maybe the best on hk. TT works really good. Need carbon blades for 3d. Not a Trex of course, but flies good. 2200 mah 3cell battery, 50a hk esc flies this kit. And the price is incredible.

Ich stimme den Beitrgen im Bezug auf Qualitt nur teilwweise zu. Der Bausatz ist brauchbar, die Schrauben sind jedenfalls besser als beim Orginal. Probleme hat man nur bei den Teilen auf die es nunmal ankommt. Die kann man natrlich gegen orginal Teile tauschen und mit Glck hat man dann einen gut funktionierenden Heli. Bis es allerdings soweit ist, kann man sich gleich das Orginal kaufen. Wer allerdings seinen alten orginal Heli durch Kaltverformung des Chassis unbrauchbar gemacht hat, allerdings ein groteil der kommponenten noch gebaruchen kann, wird mit diesem Heli gut beraten sein.

Excellent kit for the money. I replaced all the gears (tail drive and main gears) with align, replaced the main shaft (it was slightly bent), and used Savox servos with eflite motor, ESC, and gyro from a Blade 450 3D I crashed a while ago. It flies well with this setup.

I recently went to the Turnigy Heli-drive motor for this model for more headspeed and aerobatic capability.

Either setup works great. I'm very happy.

I Just recently purchased a second one of these, this heli went together like a dream . Hobby king is really doing a nice job on these $50 Pro's now .
I have used all hobby king components and it is stock out of the box . Not a vibration or a wobble the whole heli is perfect and the tail is tight and positive .
The supplied blades balanced perfectly and track straight as an arrow
I have used the following components ,...
HK15158A Digital BB/Coreless Mini Servo 25g / 2.8kg / ..... Tail
HXT900 9g / 1.6kg / .12sec Micro Servo..........................Cyclic
Turnigy Typhoon 450H 2218H Heli Motor 3450kv................Motor
HobbyKing GA-250 MINI-MEMS Gyro ...............................Gyro
The gyro is set to 70HZ the lowest level , which suits the HK15158A perfectly .. it does not need to be set higher.
With the GA-250 MINI-MEMS Gyro the tail of the 450 Pro is rock solid with no drift or servo creeping whatsoever.

First of all, I have to say that HK is a big joke and if they delete my review it just proves my point...
I bought this heli kit from Germany it had a bunch of damaged parts on arrival, now they are asking me to send the parts back to China. Also I would spend more money sending them back then buying replacement ones in HK.

What a big joke, don't you agree???

The parts that were damaged:

-Both tail plates were badly cracked
-tail shaft bend
-torque tube bend
-main gear bend (wobble)
-tail gear bend (wobble)
-tail conic gear with teeth missing
-some screws missing

Now if I buy this for replacement it would be more a less 26$(16$ 10$ on shipment costs), so the final price of my kit would be something like 110$ or so but I suspect that maybe some of the replacement parts would be damaged aswell... has that is a "normal" thing on HK products...
So.... let's say 120$ as final price... what a false economy :S

Once again... don't you agree this is big a joke???

I love this helicopter. but when I bought it I was new to 6 channel 3 D helicopters. for the rest of you just starting out there save your time and headaches and buy the belt version not the torque tube it will last a lot longer if you're just learning how to fly. In fact it will take a beating. You will strip the bevel gears at either end of the tail boom if you so much is tap the ground with a torque tube model.

Hello

I bought this Heli . I crash so that, the tail gear on the front of the tail boom damaged. On the Hobby King heli parts ... no replacement parts Front tail drive gear ?!! I contact customer suport center, they told me, Havent that replacement part for this heli...So it is better to consider before you buy this cheap heli.... REGARDS

The tail rotor fails, once rpm is close to take off the gears unmesh at the heli side. Really disappointed and can only suggest looking at the belt-driven version instead. On top of that that holes pre drilled for the elevator cyclic are too far apart, and the auto rotation bracket position needed an awful lot of sanding. I think I might have been sent a duff kit!!!
