I bought three of these. Two of the three have had the battery wires fatigue and break at the connector end. There is no fix because the connectors are not available. Very crashworthy and fun for a while.

I had a lama 2Q for about a year. This one is much more stable and fun to fly and 1/3 the cost and better scale look. It is faster and it is better made also. I have 50 flights so far, 8 hours in the air, and the only damage is a rotor blade ball (there are two balls per blade so I'm still on the original blade set). I like to see what crazy places I can land the thing so I crash a lot running into stuff. This is a great value.

Great looking heli , quick and powerful with the 220 mah battery , only problem i have is with plugging the battery into the battery bay .. the plug seems tight and the connection is sort of loose, it s okay once the hatch is closed

This HK189 is my first heli. I bought it because I liked my coworker's Syma S107G but I wanted an RF transmitter and 4ch instead of IR transmitter and 3ch.



The biggest flaw I have seen with this heli is the delicate rotor blades and flybar. Since it is my first heli I'm sure you can guess I have crashed it a few times. On my first couple of charges (my first day owning it) I broke 2 blades. Fortunately, it ships with a spare set of blades so I was able to repair it easily. My coworker's heli has a more durable design though because the blades pivot out of the way when they hit something. It would be nice if this heli had the same design.



Also on the first day, I noticed the cheap carbon fiber flybar starting to splinter. On the second day I crashed it into some track lighting hanging from my ceiling. This was the last straw for the flybar as it finally snapped in half. I got on the HK website to order a new one and discovered that they don't sell replacement flybars for it. I was perturbed that such an easily breakable but important part didn't have a replacement available. But I knew that a USA based chain store hobby shop near me carries a heli that looks identical except for the transmitter. Sure enough, they had a replacement flybar that worked great and was made of metal instead of carbon fiber. So I'm flying again.

I bought it very easy to start operation worth every money you put very cheap breaks should buy with extra battery and Rtrim it flew up to 5 minutes at a relatively good sign is also very enjoyable for adults 22 and I play it

Complete WASTE of MONEY, rubbish. Gears dont line up to the motor pinion. It makes a terrible clatter. When on full revs helicopter blades slips. Spend your money elsewhere but not here

Nach 4 wochen habe ich den kleinen Heli bekommen. Erstaunlich
wie gut der fliegt fr kleines Geld. Allerdings ist nach ein paar Flgen
der Heli auf die Seite gekippt,und abgebrochen war das Gewicht von der Paddelstange. Ersatzteile gibt es zwar aber warum nicht eine Paddelstange? So filigran hergestellt ,die bricht doch am ehesten.
Ersatzteile gibt es fr den HK 189 aber was nutzt das wenn dauernd alles ausverkauft ist. Was macht man jetzt?. 40 Euro mit Versand,
Zollgebhren und den Zeitaufwand,naja ich glaube ich geb ein bichen mehr Geld aus und hab die Ersatzteile vor Ort.

Very nice little heli. Flown it about 15 times now and bound it to my turnigy 9x v2 right out of the box. Would recommend to anyone.
