Print incredible structures and 3D projects with HobbyKing's own range of PLA filament. If you're new to using PLA, you'll find it easier to print thanks to having a lower melting point.

One of the most important features is that PLA is non-toxic with an extremely high printing resolution. . PLA has a low shrinkage rate and is very rigid with minimal flex. While PLA is considered stronger than ABS it is more susceptible to cracking when subjected to flexing, therefore you will need to consider if the filament is right for the mechanical needs of the print project.

A great material for 3D printing, PLA can be printed without the use of a heat bead and can stick to glass or a PCB plate using a binder such as hairspray or white glue. These simple binding agents will help achieve a curl free print.

3D printing is a fun and exciting hobby with a wide range of uses from prototyping parts to making toys for the kids. Picking the right filament for your application is very important. Filament is always stuck on the roll while printing. This makes the printer underextruding.
Wouldn't recommend this.

I 3D print lots of Disney ears. They need to be bright and clear. This is the black that I always use. I might be a bit bias because I find HK filament to be extremely good value and they are my preferred printing medium but this product give me a perfect black every time, eve on finely printed lines.

Works perfectly well. Shame it;s not a silk finish and the premium silk doesn't come in black. Nonetheless, prints slightly matte at 205 and lower, if the speed is sufficient.

I started using this PLA Premium filament when I ran out of the basic Hobbyking filament. I'm more than halfway through this reel, my prints have been good and the filament hasn't given me any issues at all.
