This ESC only last for 5 seconds on my boat. Using a 4s lipo with 2100 kv motor. Just 2 meters after launch I can hear 1 of the capacitor pops. Did used a the programming card before testing & yes throttle was also calibrated.
Guter und Preiswerter Regler hat nur einen Nachteil das teil luft bei mir nicht an 2S bei 3S u 4S problemlos

macht das programieren zum Kinderspiel !!It is very good, I take it in the my boats, It help the boats run very fastNo on/off switch on these unlike the car ESCs which is a bit poor!!!!!This is pretty much a plug n play ESC, which is just as well as the manual is the manual from hell. I am using it on a outrigger running a 3S with a 2845 3700KV.
In a test in my swimming pool (don't ask..) I was able to get the motor wires to smoke and the ESC didnt give up and blow. It reduced power and then tripped. Wait 10 minutes and it was back. This is just what you want. The unit is sealed in epoxy and the cooling has a huge heat sink with lots of thermal mass. yes, it makes it heavy, but, it also means it can absorb an awful lot of punishment.
The best accolade I can give it is to say I will by the 120A version for a deep V I am planning..................................................................Well constructed, solid esc. No connectors included in the package however - this would help! Very please with the itemBought this as a replacement for the stock Thunder Tiger Avanti Deep Vee ESC which was rated to 40A. The major difference to this is that you have the capability of going reverse. The casing for this ESC is bigger than the stock ESC but since it's waterproofed already, you can leave this out of the radio box.
The biggest advantage of this ESC is the reverse. Not a major issue with the Avanti as it's not a flex shaft and you don't have to worry about unwinding it if it binds. Highly recommendedIt is very good, I take it in the my boats, It help the boats run very fast
