I have been getting more and more disappointed with HobbyKing as time has gone on contacting them about bad products. This is the final straw. Buy a power a proper power supply....just spend the 40 more bucks and do it or buy one from here http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2212158

This supply refuses to turn the cooling fans on and after 15 mins of charging I saw/smelled smoke. This means the over temperature safety feature was not working and neither were the "smart fans". Disappointed to say the least.

I'm really happy with this product! The build quality looks good, it puts out lots of current without getting too hot and it stays reasonably quiet, thanks to the smart fan, unless you push it hard. Output voltage is very stable, even when I pull 20A from the unit. Good job, HobbyKing!

First, yes, this power supply comes with a power cord! I have been using this for several months with no issues. The high 540 watts is great when charging multiple 6s batteries. I have used 2 quad chargers at the same time with no issues.

you can save $20 buying the 350 watt power supply but if you charge 5s or 6s batteries, buy the 540 watt power supply. in the long run you will be happy you did!

Adjustable output. I use mine at 17.9 Volts, which makes it easier on the Charger. Automatic fan turn on only fires up the fan when needed. Two fans are sequenced on to control internal heat.

I recently received this item. After using it, I can only say one thing.....FANTASTIC!!!!. I have used the power supply with no issues. It barely got warm charging 6s batteries. The fans came on as they are supposed to. There was absolutely no electrical smell from the unit. My quad charger works on 11-15 volts so I adjusted the voltage down to 15 volts at the power supply. Both the Hobbyking power supply and Quattro charger work perfectly. This power supply has enough output to handle any charger you have. You can use two chargers at once with no issues.

I rate this charger at 5 Crowns across the board. I consider this power supply as good as those selling for twice the price!

At this price point this power supply is in a league of its own, I love it. I have only had it for a month now, but here are some things I noticed as a few other had stated it has the electronics smell for the first few uses (break in with resins or something on the chipboard I'm assuming), the fan is loud when it kicks on in a quiet room but when I'm at the track I honestly don't notice it.I would recommend this product to anyone.

finally got a power supply that can handle my chargers. Great value , and received it quick. may even buy another one. dual fans and dual outputs allow my charges to finally do what they were designed to do.
If your going to buy a power supply , this one is great

I'm on my second one. The first lasted 11 months then failed to hold the voltage. Returned to HobbyKing for full refund as an internal component had failed. I run two chargers at the same time off this and can charge many 3s batteries at once.

This power supply is highly recommended. I have used it now for two full race days with my new Turnigy V2 Mega 200 watt x2 output charger at 10 amps charging 4 cell packs. It charges 4 cell packs quickly and accurately on balance mode. Surprisingly quicker yet on basic charge mode for 4 cell.

Some of you have complained about the fan noise, really? I see no problem. It keeps it cool at high current. Also don' worry about the break-in odor. This is normal and goes away in time.
