I purchased this unit for my Dolphin trainer. It went in with minimum modifications. It was balance and didn't need any additional adjustment. Much quieter than the original fan unit.

Excellent EDF

Test data with 3s 3000 mAh battery:
11.8V, 34.6A, 416.2W, thrust 490gramm
The power at 16.5 V (fully charged 4s battery) would be 824W.
The motor is just slightly warm when running on the 3s battery.
I was using the blue plastic before and it burned after few minutes of running.
The Dr. Max alloy EDF is much better and looks like it will work reliably for long time.

It's good for 64mm edf T45.
But Requires a battery with a higher discharge rate as the output is stronger. Batteries below 60C may cause damage to the battery.

Update to Good Upgrade

Purchased another for a second 4S Stinger 64. Now have around 25 flights on one and seems to be holding up fine. Definitely a bit noisy under any throttle setting which could be bearings in the motor, but performs well. Good value for this price point.

Added to a Stinger 64. Will pull 54a with a HW60a FlyFun and a GA 1800 setup. Doesn't have the nice whoosh of the stock 12 blade setup but increases performance by what feels to be 20 percent. Worth it.

Perfect replacment for in T-50

Replaced the original EDF in the T-50 from Hobbyking by this EDF. I used 3 mm double sided tape to position the EDF in the T-50 since original is a 70 mm EDF. Today we made the testflight. Whow, what a beautifull sound and enough power for the T-50. We are using 4S 2200mAh Nanotech 45-90C.
