Got my 912 mm yellow Tiger Moth 2 weeks ago started it today and finished 4 hours latter with help from my 12 year old. The kit had everything in the box less glues and tools it did have many of the issues other people have experienced. Fuselage not glued correctly tailskid broken away form the foam. However this is not a kit with a high premium and the issues are easy to sort out if you have built a few aircraft before. The build sequence is a little off in my opinion nothing really to grumble over and its really obvious. The hardware is cheap but functional and the servos worked fine. It has built into a really nice little model and the flying wires are well worth the effort. When finished it came out 100grams over the declared flying weight my only real criticism is, there is no mention of the flying control range of movements. Im going to go full range and dial in 50pcnt exponential unless some one has got a better idea. In summary cheap as chips and looks a lot better than it should and really easy build if you have any experience if not stay clear and start on something simpler.

Well this plane has one definite fault that I warn you all to check before you fly it! The engine can easily come right off during flight! Yes you heard right "The engine can come right off during flight"! This is what took me from flying a rather nice moth, to sheer crashed and broken frustration! All because I forgot to Pre thread lock the engine mount screws prior to flying! I really stress don't go through the grief I encountered! The staff that installed the motor to the cowl have not done the engine mount screws up tight enough and/or have not appllied any thread lock to the engine screws! In fact (not just for this model) it's a good idea to do this with any electric model you purchase! Never trust the engine mount screws until you've tightened and Pre thread locked them thoroughly yourself! So is say DO yourself a massive favor (when you buy this nice value for cash model) and unscrew the engine mount screws and apply some Loc-Tight thread locker to the screws that lock the motor to the wooden cowl! Other than this I'm buying another (due to the value and no other faults) and this time round I'm definitely Pre- Thread locking the engine screws! It was such a good plane to fly until this unfortunate event happened! So remember what i'm saying here is very Important!

Is it normal to add nearly 8.0 oz to properly balance a plane? Beautiful model with plenty of power and now I have to ugly it up with half a pound of weights to get level flight. You would think that "for the money" it would be engineered a little better than that. Lower wing very thin at the worst possible point and very easy to break on a rough landing. Doubt I'll get another.

I received my tiggy today, 4 shipping days after ordering it. Packaging was totally undamaged. All parts in good repair with and excellent finish. My only worry is that the lower wing is rather flimsy at the roots. Thinking about adding some carbon fiber spars. Will try a stock assembly and first flight as soon as the weather turns. February in Kentucky is rather windy. First impressions are good and for the price I doubt this model can be beat.

recieved prompt delivery of a well packed little plane from Aus warehouse. All looked good but for the warp in lower wing, i intended to strengthen with CF rod anyway so will straighten then.
otherwise happy with purchase.

Arrived packed in plain cardboard outer box, undamaged. Opened and plain cardboard box inside with no illustrations of finished model. Opened that and there was the kit of parts, more of a 'park flyer' size than I was expecting but that's ok. One problem was that the tailskid was partly broken off the fuselage so some repair needed. I will add reinforcing at that area anyway. Also found no instructions in the box, assume there should be? Still, a simple model to build so with all the parts laid out should not be too much trouble to assemble. A tube of glue is supplied in the kit, and rigging wire which I probably will not use. Oh, also it says 'RAF' markings but as the pic on the website shows, and I knew anyway, it is actually Australian markings. On the back burner at the moment, may do some 'touching up' on the finished model. It could also do with a scale pilot to fill one of the cockpits. All in all a good basic model, and I do have a spare 'park flyer' rx doing nothing.

Very nice little biplane for the money - flys extremely well although mine needed a bit more weight up front to stop it pitching up all the time, otherwise it's a thumbs up from me, - might buy the blue variant when it's back in stock as this plane is an ideal size to chuck in the car and go for a quick fly before the wife gets home and starts handing jobs out!!!!!

After owning this for a while now, I thought I would give some more feedback, this flies much better with quite a bit of down and right thrust by using some plastic under motor corner. The difference is quite amazing and I am much happier now, b4 when I opened throttle full nose would come up and almost stall and pull hard to left when trimmed out at half throttle and when turn throttle off would dive to the right. This should really have been built into fire wall but as it's not BE WARNED and add the thrust lines and you will get a much nicer flier.
