Hard to beat this at the price, add a GPS and for under a $100 you have a full featured telemetry set up. Watch the way that you plug in the leads to the GPS it is opposite to the other units that plug in.

I am very disappointed with the quality of the Apache OSD. First time I returned whole set because low quality picture on the screen. Now main board heated up and dead with smoke after third testing use.
Now I am faced an alternative (because I have power module, GPS, USB, remote control from the set): to buy main board again or through out all set and buy something better.

I bought the kit without the GPS because I was going to use my own. The kit arrived in a bag with the quick instruction sheet. I had to consult the bigger manual to figure out how it was supposed to go together. Overall I think it is a good value! Here are the things to watch out for:
1. The 4 pin harness for the video was completely backwards and the white wire was the video, not yellow. I re-pinned out the connector to match the big user manual.
2. The software looses connection with the OSD after a few changes. The changes I did make did get saved.
3. The OSD got messed up when outputting on the bright setting. I had to upgrade the firmware and choose a much smaller contrast to get it to work right in my office (at night). During the day the video image is brighter and everything worked much better. The bright OSD text would offset the video voltage too high and the OSD would loose it's lock and therefore placement of the text. Luckily this only happened on the bottom portion of the screen.

The other GPS unit does work and it was stock - no special setup. I do recommend upgrading the firmware since the new options are very helpful.

Manual is terrible and the software avaiable too! AEORC doesnt provide support....



Gps doesnt work and it is impossible to adjust!!!!

My first one i tried to update and it died during process...i thought that it was my fault and bought a second one...it have the same problems....

I had problems with updating the flash memory it would not update completely which left the unit useless. I experimented & finally managed to get it all working again. Informed HK and they requested me to send it back but I had already fixed it. The TF card I bought from HK doesn't seem to work on this unit even though it has FAT format & works on my Laptop...???
