Probably the most unstable airplane I've ever flown in the 15 years iv been flying. You literally need 150 feet of smooth runway with a 3s, and never try a hand launch unless you have a 4s and a good arm. Anything with factory glue you might as well go over it with you own, one of the lading gear came off from just a taxi check. As far as flying iv hardly kept it in the air since it tip stalls incredibly east, even with flaps. To sum it up, only buy if you have a lot of room for take off and to fly fast since its the only way to keep it in the air. Also ad 3/4 of an ounce to the tail if you have a 4s 2200

Just picked this up a week ago. Its a great bird to have. Its a pretty big head turner as well. I mounted a small HD camera on it and put it up to about 800 feet and cut the throttle off completely. It just floated around like a bird looking for a dead animal. They recommend a 4S 1800, but I flew it with a 3S 4000 and had no issue other that it takes a little longer to gain high altitude due to less power from the battery. I highly recommend only hand launching it if you have a 4S installed, a 3S will not do it. If you take off like normal, give yourself at least 60 yards for a 3S and less for a 4S. Also highly recommend, dial down your rudder control throw to about 60 percent. Reason being is that the nose is a little heavy with that battery and the slightest turn of the wheel while trying to taxi will send it out of control, not to mention it will potentially bend your nose gear and your wings will catch the ground and scratch them up. Throttle management is awesome due to its large wingspan so grab a chair, send it up and watch it just glide with ease. The box come with no instructions, so if your a novice builder, I suggest you consult with someone who is to make sure your build goes smoothly. The servos are cheap, so make sure your trims are in good so you dont have any servo rattle where you can burn them out quickly. The wings are solid due to the CF rods in them. When y

Well landing on the wheels sucks..... I hate landing on wheels when there is just some cheap glue holding the wheels in places. I land on its undercarriage but I made the horns on top of the wing and have the servo horn come throw the wing so it won't snag on anything. The stock motor is to weak. Lets just say it needs a lot of mods to be good. Save your time and money and get SOMTHING better...... If you do want it here is one tip it needs to go fast it will tip stall

just got the global hawk in today. it only 2 weeks and it was in stock. took way to long to get in hobby king. anyway i am very impressed with the quality and the durability of the global hawk. when i put everything together i noticed that it had a bad servo right out of the box, it wasn't a biggie since i have tons of spare servos laying around. the servos are 5g micro servos but any regular sub micro or micro servos will work. the glue that comes with the plane i tried to use but it takes forever to cure, so instead i used foam safe fast drying glue. the battery compartment is massive, it will fit any size battery from 2200 mah up to my 4000mah 14.8v battery's, it might fit a 5000 but im not sure since i do not own one. battery connect or is a xt60 coming off the esc. it does fly better than i expected since this is my first edf i was very impressed how well it did fly.

Bought this about a week ago, Came next day, I took it out of the box and everything was there as it should, There was not instructions with this plane, As i put it together i noticed that the screws that are there for the wheels are too big so had to drill bigger holes, The motor seems to vibrate very bad weather or not this is because the prop is not balanced or not but dont no, There is a problem with the lining up with the wings, The wheels fell of as putting it together, it was the plastic that you screw the wheels on to that fell out but apart from them every thing seems fine such as Very strong magents for the canopy so holds on well, Tight fit for the wings so holds in good, Very strong body and wings, Motor is very powerful, Massive space inside so good for fpv equiptment and a bigger battery, Over all not bad product, Not flown yet but will let you all no how it goes.

Just received the HK Global Hawk. The package is good. it features adouble box packing which minimise damage to the kit. The overall of the kit is very good, High quality EPO with water slide decal applied. The only thing that I am not very happy is that the spec indicate that it is equipped with 65mm fan, in fact, it was only 60mm instead. So when I tried to replace the fan, I had to trim out about 2mm all round the duct to fit in a 65mm fan.
