Le cadre multi-rotor Hobbyking® ™ Y4 Scorpion Micro est un verre cadre de haute qualité de la fibre qui offre deux grands regards et de performance. Construit à partir de poids léger mais la fibre de verre et de carbone extrêmement rigide, le Y4 offre une excellente combinaison de gain de poids et de la force.

Le style Y4 Scorpion fait ressembler davantage à une créature mortelle d'un cadre multi-rotor, tout en offrant une excellente fonctionnalité et la performance! Le Scorpion est également fourni avec 4 x 2900kv Brushless Outrunner Motors qui sont parfaitement adaptés à ce cadre, aider à prendre la conjecture hors de la chaîne de traction.

Ce cadre multi-rotor est conçu pour être utilisé dans la configuration «Y-4" utilisant 4 moteurs (2 monté à l'avant, 1 sur chaque bras et 2 monté à l'arrière pour lacet et de contrôle d'ascenseur), nous proposons également une gamme complète de l'électronique multi-rotor tels que les panneaux de commande, ESC, batteries et plus, il n'a jamais été plus facile ou plus abordable pour obtenir un multi-rotor dans l'air!

Nice little copter. Took me about 20 minutes to assemble the frame. The instructions are a little blurred, so it was kind of difficult to tell which parts you needed, because several are similar in size. Also, make sure you glue the tale AFTER you mount the motors to it. If you glue it first, then you won't be able to get the screws in. ALSO, it doesn't come with screws for the motors. The motors need 2mm adapters for propellers. The overall construction is good. Some parts are a bit tight, and hard to get all the way together. The frame is pretty solid after you get it together. The regular kk2.1 is too big for this little frame. I would go with the kk mini, or naze32, or equivalent in size flight controller. There is not much room for electronics on the body.

Flight review!

First off, no CG indicated in the skimpy plans! I used a ballpark from the position of the big brother (Y650 Scorpion).

It flies fairly nicely. Because of its size and weight, handles hard landings (crashes ;-) very nicely - nothing broken. Also due to its weight, it's VERY responsive. by the time you desensitize the gyros to where they're not oscillating you don't really have a "hands off" hover and always have to keep the corrections up.

If there's anything negative - and this will take more testing to try to work out what's happening - it's that the rudder seems almost ineffective. Just doesn't want to yaw. I did notice that one of the 2 motors on the back stops sooner than the other 3, it's possible it's not spinning as fast - not enough torque to yaw the little thing.

By the way, I'm using the Atmega 328 PA V3 board. Kind of large but was left over after I replaced the board on the 650 Scorpion (with the LCD one). If you use this board, don't flash the most current version of firmware, use the next one down (4.5 I think). The most current one doesn't work.
