i got this to bolt on to my bix 3 but the first problem was that the bolts were not long enough to catch the thread or it was just put in the wrong place so after a bit of glue to hold it in place i found one of the servos not working- i pulled it apart and they were very cheap servos and the one the broke was split open. recommend getting better quality servos

Nice and above all - funny!
Quality of plastic is very good.
Out of box - works, but little tweaking helps (adjusting clevises).
If you like fiddling around - you can move door links one hole down on both front and rear servo horn, little tweaking of support/holder - and you have nice mechanical setup without any servo strain.
And if you are feeling particularly sado / masochistic - you can lay the cables out of the bay, with perfectly clean room for cargo.

These things are a total hoot! Put one under my QAV 250 clone and "delivered" some eggs I had been saving. Looked ridiculous under my quad but so much fun I had to get amoth one. Uses HXT900 servos - easily and cheaply repaired or replaced if need be.
An Excellent product!

An absolute hoot to "deliver" eggs with using my QAV/ZMR clone quadcopter! Looks ridiculous (hilarious) in flight like some kind of weird airship - the candy dropper appearing bigger than the aircraft lifting it.

Uses HXT 900 servos - easily replaced or repaired using spare gears from HK stock.

This thing is so much fun I bought a second one!

The idea behind this item is great, and the Candy Dropper Module is well made. Fits very good under the fuselage of the legendary 1800 mm Telemaster from Engel Modellbau and all its clones. Bigger planes with a wide fuselage should be able to carry 2 of them side by side. Be sure to adjust the servo travel in your transmitter carefully so the servos stop buzzing when it is closed in empty condition. Seems to be a little expensive at the first look, but it`s worth the money.

A lot of fun for kids and adults. I mounted mine on a sk 450. Flawless operation and easy to install.

Good product. Easy mountable with velcro under the fuselage of the plane. Dropping parachutes! Attention the flightbehaviour of the plane changes !

Very nice add on. I bought this to use with the Bix3, but beware, the supplied screws are too short to use. I am using Industrial Strength Velcro and it seems to be working OK. I am not loading a lot of weight in it, just some cheap parachute men. But over all the quality is good and the price was right for me

This comes preassembled and it works fine. I tested it with a servo tester first. The doors need to be adjusted on mine, they don't close well and one of the servo binds. The unit is made of plastic and will probably not handle any rough stuff, especially the doors. It does not have a large carrying capacity. Keep that in mind. You won't load a bag of candy in this thing. Also the door servos carry the weight of the payload. This means they will draw extra current to hold the doors closed.

I suggest you set the end points on the channel to a low value, maybe 30pcnt to start and then adjust the end points so the doors just close and open. If you have the option, slowing the servo speed down would be a nice effect.

This could be painted with a plastic friendly pain to match your aircraft. The mounting bolts are pretty large. You could drill some more if you don't need that weight capability. Also, velcro could make installation simpler. Some industrial velcro will hold quite a bit of weight. This would be good for travel and moving to different planes.
