Got this motor some time back but used it last week. My eSPAD 48" trainer has it with TR 2.2 3S 20C battery and TR Plush60 ESC. Because of the early warnings, I did not even dare go any where near the recommended prop sizes. Instead I tried a 8x6 Prop and my WATT meter shoot upto 60A WOT!!! I proped it down to 7x4 which was enough to carry the 1.3Kg load efficiently, it settles at 29A at WOT with 325W. I was surprised to see that the 20c TR 2.2 was getting pretty hot as well as the motor. Infact after a sudden burst of full power for just about 30 sec was enough to get the motor pretty hot. 3 Stars since it took my bird to the sky... some how its still flying with out burning anything!

Fantastic motor.....
Our club members just amaze with my low wing hand made balsa plane in ws 1200mm. it flies like balistic....
They ask me to get more this motor for them... too pitty it's not available at the moment
Hope HK will soon get the stock back on this..

I used APC 10x5 it drawn 52A with ESC turnigy plush 60A.
It's out of data given... 45A max is out of limit. it's not possible to put ESC 45A with this set up.. it will just toost ur ESC. 5 stars for this

Do not start with the recommended prop size or you will cook this motor. I just ran the motor static with an Eflite meter and got 40amps with a 9x4.5 APC E prop and a 3S 2350 Rhino. The motor is only rated at 45amps. Be very cautious using anything with 4S.

I am using this motor on a Parkzone T-28 with a Turnigy 3 cell 2200mah nanotech 25-50c battery and a 60A plush ESC. I am using a APC 10X7 electric prop. I live and fly at 6800' above sea level. If I feel like showing off I can take about a 20' takeoff run and pull vertical and do unlimited vertical while doing full deflection snap roles on the way up. I love sneeking up on un-suspecting gas pilots with my (HA HA) toy airplane. I have over 100 flights on this motor and no problems at all.
