Wrong parts included.

As mentioned previously, there are no plans to write about or speak of but having built these kits previously, I was able to figure out how its SUPPOSED to go together.
However, having completed the fuselage and 1 wing, I realized that there were not enough parts included to complete the second wing in that although parts were there, they were the wrong parts and didn't belong to this kit.
So I'm left with a half completed model with 4 essential wing parts (C1) missing.
It would appear that someone in the packing room had put the wrong balsa parts card in the box for this kit.

Quality balsa and well cut parts but not for beginners

Great kit if you have built balsa planes before, the only let down is that there are no build plans at all. Since no plans are provided then I think how can any beginner actually assemble this plane and make it straight, let alone build it correctly? Seems silly to have a nice glossy set of instructions that frankly were more irritating than useful since they don't really provide much useful information anyway.
I also re-glued back in the cut out pieces in the rear stab, fin, rudder and the inner parts of the elevators to make the parts more rigid...no need to skin them with 1/32' balsa and the parts are now strong enough.

Excellent value traditional build kit. The wood is generally of good quality and the cutting accurate. The instructions are poor. Fine for an experienced builder but would not be enough to guide one new to balsa building or one that has been used to more prefabricated models.
