Needed to be levelled as base was not flat

The leveler did not have a flat base nor was it horizontal. When it was placed on a flat surface the vertical beam was at a severe angle (approx 60deg not 90). By making and attaching a base from 3mm ply wood and with the use of shims I was able to allign it correctly. Now it works fine and is a very handy unit - overall happy now.

Price was great, and the light beam is bright and narrow.
Spirit levels are both off a smidge, so will need to disassemble and pack them to be truly level.
The blue "reusable adhesive" had me confused at first, as it is as hard as chalk and not maleable no matter how much thumb squeezing. Just use Blu-Tak or some other putty.
This will get a workout in my house very soon, when I have to install some new shelving.
Still worthy of a purchase anyway, cheaper than the deadly accurate Makita alternatives :)

Design is ok, workmanship is poor. Mine came with the prism in front of the lens placed at an angle, so the laser line was off.

Simple matter of re-positioning the prism, but there is nothing to keep it from moving around. I may glue it in place one of these days.

I am not stisfied with this product (Laser from Hobby King), its quality is very poor. Very low quality plastics and assembly.

Quite dissapointing, both bubble levels out and laser out too, Had to take it to pieces, reset the two bubbles with car bog and glue in the small laser lens or whatever it is after speniding quite some time getting it right. Might still end up in the bin.
