I found this to be an easy kit to build but instructions provided were somewhat vague as they depended mostly on photos and the photos were so small that it was hard to discern details. One major item missing was the lack of a C.G. location. I''ve read the recommended dimension is 100mm back from leading edge but I've also read it's impossible to fly it with that value. Instead values of 52 to 75 have been reported as correct so I am concerned about what it should really be.If someone has some flight data that will help. please publish.

Fantastic little kit, Ordered from EU warehouse to UK in 7 days, went together very well, A beginner might have problems as instructions ain't the best in the world but ok for someone whos use to building kits, Every part is lazer cut including the windscreen. I decided to put the aileron servos under the wing to make it look better & added some hardwood to u/c for strength, Also added some 60mm Piper cub wheels & Decals to mine (see Little Cub photos in files tab). Am using a 40amp esc and spare motor i had in my spares box, Will give it a maiden flight soon.

Fantastic little plane kit, Instructions are a bit hit and miss at times but goes together very well, ordered from EU warehouse to UK in 7 days. Built mine into a mini piper cub(see photos tab)

Excellent value for money. Easy build. Instructions are not very helpfull but with planning and laying out of pieces you can puzzle it together. The leading edge for the wing was a little underdimensioned. Plane arrived well packaged, and well cut. THX HK

What a neat plane to build. As usual the plans are not that great, however everything went together really well as the laser cutting was spot on. I have been told it looks like a cartoon plane from Disney. So the smile I put on front of it matches mine.

Quality of ply & balsa was excellent. Die cutting was of a high standard and required only minimum effort to remove from sheets.
Wing is of traditional balsa construction, mainly used a white glue for assembly.
Basic fuselage is ply, all parts interlocked easily and required minimum gluing (dry assembled then glued with cyno).
Only negative is the instructions, not easy to identify the individual parts, used the pictures for a guide and my own experience.
Not recommended for a novice builder.
Overall it is a top kit to build during the cold weather.

Great kit. went together as expected. This is only my second attempt at building a laser cut kit the first being the HK GeeBee. I really enjoyed this build. I modified the bottom of the fuse to make a battery compartment hatch using the knock outs. The C of G as shown on the "instruction sheet" is COMPLETELY WRONG! and caused a laundry incident on the maiden flight. The correct position is approx. 25-30mm from the leading edge. This put the battery pretty much as far forward as it would go. Strap the front wheel axle to the bottom of the fuse NOT through holes in the fuse sides if you do a hard landing it will damage the fuse sides. Put them as far forward as you can to find substantial wood. I actually "beefed up" where the screws would go so that they had plenty of "bite". I used approx. 60pcnt throws on the ailerons and 45pcnt on the elevator-not critical if C of G correct. Rudder..whatever! I didn't attempt to make the tail wheel steerable as the rudder id to thin but if you were to modify it you could.

Wanted to build a model the old fashioned way, and I found the right model for it. The construction is a bit weak at some points especially the wing attachment to the body. But some extra balsa pieces got it pretty solid. And the body structure is a bit crocked, but pin the whole structure down to the buldingbord as you glue it sorted that problem out. The blueprints are a bit hard to understand so its not for beginners. And it is a bit hard to fly also, you need to use all your rudder to turn it and its a bit tail-heavy even whit 3S 2450mah all the way to the front. 2830 1200kv is a bit underpowered. Take off is real fun to watch. It runs fast like a formula 1 car because the wing is not angeled towards the air. But it looks real funny in the air and my girlfriend Thinks its real cute.

Nice little plane, but Building and flying this plane is not for the beginer.
