I bought this board and installed it. I turned it on, and the message "throttle not idle" always came on. I checked the throttle stick, and it was down. I turned it off and held the elevator stick down, and turned it back on, and now no more message. I guess the transmitter was confused on which stick was the throttle stick was. I turned it off, and then held down the exit button, and turned it back on, and the problem was solved. This is the reset procedure for a Turnigy 9x, but it worked for my 9xr. I Hope this helps some one else. OTHERWISE THIS IS A GREAT RADIO NOW.

Actually, for such a price every Turnigy 9XR owner should have a spare main board. I have done the telemetry, haptic, megasound9X mods on my 9XR and soldering to those tiny terminals is not an easy job, so having a spare just in case is always a wise idea.

Got this board to replace an faulty one, installation took about 15 minutes and the transmitter is up and running again.

I have an early 9xr with the m64 chip. This main board does come preflashed with the original 9xr software, but only supports 16 models. Now for under $7.00 U.S. I have an m128 chip and have reflashed with Open tx128 and have gone from 16 models to 30. Now one tx holds all my models. Easy installation and works perfectly. If you are familiar with reflashing firmware, this is a great upgrade.

Thank you Hobbyking for supplying the 9xr mainboard. It comes preflashed with an ATmega128. I 'implanted' it into a Walkera WK2603 transmitter which is runnig with OpenTX firmware now:)

Supplying us with a suitable 128x64 LCD display would be great too.

Gret thing, has M128 controller, so, double models memory. I've buy M128 for 4$ before,here for 6$ complete soldered motherboard... Incredible...

My one had failures, so I ordered a new one, now finally in stock. Hope it comes with software already flashed.
