Howdy Pilots, this little AMX model is incredible. Packed nicely and goes together with ease. I installed 11g metal bearing servos, Dr Mad Thrust 4800 EDF, 35A ESC with 1000mAh 25 3s battery and flies great. Having the elevon set-up is not as daunting as first thought and rolls are quite quick and even inverted flight is easy. Hand launch and landings are a breeze, she floats in effortlessly on landings with no power, she just glides in and when about to touch down, just pull back on the elevator control and she just plops on the ground. I left the wing tip missiles and under wing missiles off this model to make it more streamlined and she does go slightly faster with them off. Like other Skyangel models, this one is made from EPO and extremely durable. I have to give this one 5 stars all round. Do yourselves a favour and grab one, you will not be disappointed. Shame there is no decals included but luckily this looks good enough with the striking colour scheme. Great price and handy to have just the airframe so I can put upgraded electronics in it.

Howdy Pilots, this little kit is ace. All AMX models I have had have all flown beautifully and this is no exception. This is a Skyangel model and they do make some good planes. Parts are well constructed with only minimal distortion where HK staff over tighten the sticky tape when bundling the kit but it was easily fixed. Parts fitted perfectly with only minimal mods to the EDF cover to make my fan nestle nicely. Flies like it's on rails and landings are a breeze; just cut the motor on approach and she will glide magnificently for a long time and it's only a matter of pulling back the elevator as she's about to touch down and she will just flop on the ground. It is an excellent purchase and all pilots should have at least one AMX in their hanger. Buy one!!! Blue skies... Allan

best bang for the buck. plus you can put good electrics in it
