Great looking jet however it needs some serious quality control before I would recommend it.

Firstly it arrived with a servo that was broken and missing the screw holding the control arm in.
The pieces are also not cut to fit very well so it's easy to have an unbalanced jet.

After replacing the servo and testing everything I took it out for a fly where it performed extremely poorly. I'm unsure whether the centre of gravity in the manual was wrong or whether the control surfaces where misaligned but it was not a good experience.

it is a good little jet but it didn't arrive with all the parts and the instructions are terrible . Both the servos are broken and i can't get them out so i can't fix them. The only problem i have with this jet is the servos otherwise it is a good purchase.

Absolutely awesome little jet I like it so much I'm buying another one to modify by adding flaps.

This jet is the toughest model I own, withstanding multiple crashes and hard landings. Just pick it up and go again.

It has the ability to fly very slowly while still being able to get a move on under full power. You'll need to fly in a big field if you plan on flying in a park. I haven't clocked the speed yet but I'm actually apprehensive to give it full power for too long because of it's small size it can really get away from you quickly.

I'm not sure if this was a defect with my model, or if it is a common thing. My crash was caused by a loss of control input when the battery started going flat. Typically, when the battery starts going flat the ESC starts to reduce power to the motor. Mine just cut off everything, with small and random outputs from the servos. After some testing on the ground, it was definitely an issue with the ESC. I fly with Spektrum gear (I plan on changing to the 9xr when it is released, the 9x is an awesome radio and incredible when you consider it's price). Initially I was a little frustrated with this crash but when you consider how much you pay for this gear I can't complain at all. Just err on the side of caution.

Overall, my favourite little park flyer to date.

My first EDF jet and I am extremely happy! Box arrived from Int Warehouse and everything ok. No landing gear though, although when I emailed support they said that it did not come with LG. I must have missed that.

OK to setup, except the ESC connector is 2mm bullet, so I changed to XT60 for my Zippy/Turnigy batteries. Flown stock with 1000mAh, yes, needs a little foam cut away. C of G good.

Maiden was good - first flight had full up elevator trim and still not enough. Moved the servo gear one notch and now she flies beautifully. Very good even in significant wind.

Well done HK.

By far the best 50 mm I have!! I've put 2 servos for Alirons and a 50mm alloy edf and a 30amp esc running a 4 cell 1000 nano and it's a rocket!!!! Recommended

The hardware that comes with this plane is rubbish. It is incredibly hard to properly fix the control rods to the elevators with the provided screws. The EDF unit is so out of balance that it vibrates like mad, and the vibrations cause said screws to losen in mid flight. Coincidence? No, because I ordered an AMX together with this one, and it had exactly the same problems. I used to have a F18 a while ago, and it flew very well, but the linkages also came off mid flight and I lost it. For a couple of cents per plane HK could add better quality hardware, for example with screwable clevises. I'll pass on this one.

This would have to be my favorite edf jet at the moment, I'm running a 50 alloy edf , 30 amp esc and a 1000 4cell batt, is insanely fast, beats my mates rare bare !! Stable in slow and fast flight, recommended! I have also put 2 servos for Alirons. Works a treat:)

I have tried alot of different ideas I read on this blog to make this plane fly. I stripped the aleron push rods, missles, control horns, and some foam. Tapped up the alerons and just tried using the elevons like someone else mentioned. It will fly straight but don't try to turn it at any angle. As soon as you apply any turn, it wobbles and falls out of the sky. Its the only plane in my 17 count collection that won't fly! Atleast i didn't pay alot for it. Just wanted something to keep in the car that was different then my Blade and E-flite collection.
